Nice... Always feel better after a couple days of rest. Especially at this age...

For sure. Resting feels very nice no doubt.

trained chest shoulders triceps today

Also finished smashing up a hot tub to get it out of the garden
Also had to take up all the rotten decking underneath it

Had an extra bowl of oats to make up for the additional calories burnt.

Everyone is going to talk shit but this was due to poor form not strength. I wasn’t getting my feet wide enough and my knee was coming in at the bottom. This shit could have gone bad but as far as saves go it’s pretty good even hit the rack on the way up and still made it. I know 405 will crush you blah blah blah ugly or not I squatted 365lbs and it was a legal depth. But yeah wider feet next time I was using the gym Bitch pad and it kind of rolled bar into a different spot than normal will go without pad on future heavy lifts as bar shifted

Why don’t you bring down the weight to a comfortable number  that you can do. Such as 135 or 225. And focus on your form.

Clearly 355 is way too much for  you.

Your  wearing knee sleeves you have the pussy pad on.

How much more assistance do you need? Why not just drop the weight?

I will say this and I rest my case 405 will completely obliterate you.

Try and keep up that is 365lbs not 355lbs and do you really think a pad helps you squat more weight? You want to rest your case when I am only 40lbs away?

He's literally destroying himself to show off to a bunch of guys who think he's a retard.

That was hard to watch. Like watching someone do squats for the first time. Reminds me of all the first-time power lifters going for a max attempt.

Terrible form, too much weight, bad walk out, crooked depth, uneven lift, almost fell over and hurt himself.

This is too much! ;D

Back off the weight, ditch the tampon and belt. Do BB front squats to full depth with 225 until you figure out how to squat.

What a disaster.

405 my ass.

Not good Hankins, back off for a few weeks. You are going to get hurt. If I was to guess, a left leg buckle under if you keep going.

Since I train each bodypart twice weekly.and travel to do legs heavy on the fist day,I often do front squats on my lighter leg day with just about as much as I can clean, heels on a 2 X 4 block,non-lock style,ATG rhythmic motion non stop until set is finito.......the pump and burn is incredible and I`m not risking injury.....the weights are not mega heavy I`ve done tons more back in the day but my objective is to fry my quads not to impress anyone.

It`s up to Brian but I think he should rethink his plan............good luck to him whatever he does.

Disagree - he needs to add chains to the end of the bar to increase the dynamic loading - long chains... very swingy... ;D

High rep front squats will blow your quads up like a mofo. I used to do widow maker sets of 20-30 reps and my freaking quads grew like crazy.

I wish no harm on hanky anymore, i'm trying to be nice to him.

But it's just too easy when he does stuff like this on a regular basis and then claims to be some elite level expert on everything.

He's going to blow his back or knees out squatting with a twisted torso.

He literally almost folded in half because he was leaning so far forward.

That's how serious injuries occur.

Bhanky,
The safety bars in the rack are set too low.

I don’t walk right every single person on this board should absolutely squat more than me if I don’t have an excuse none of you have an excuse

I dare you to post a video of your 'gimpy' walk. One lap around the perimeter of your back yard pool will do.

FYI, I cannot squat more than you say you do and the only excuses I have are old age and one orthoscopic torn meniscus repair that didn't pan out as well as hoped.

Can't do nothing as I did get injured squatting poorly and it's not like I only do bad rep squats my form broke down at 365lbs it was perfect at 275lbs. Obviously I will do a lot of sets and reps at a lower weight working on my form before attempting that again.

Ouch!  Was it your left leg, as BB predicted..?  Hope it is in the leg(s) and not your back 🤞

That's good.  Well, I mean any injury is shit of course, but at least it's not knees or spine!
