Ya shop around.. the first few docs did this brainless questionaire matrix (reading off of computer) and conclude they need to send you to a 'specialist' aka psychiatrist who then will more than likely try to prescribe you a number of psycho drugs which will screw you up even more.
Research endocrinologists on your own instead, and DEMAND to be recommended to one of them then go from there and see what the endos discover/etc...
I had to do that, and I was put on trt at what was it 25?... within a month i was already feeling better and within a year's time my body drastically changed and I felt amazing the whole time. Unfortunately had to get off due to trying to get wife pregnant, already had precondition of low sperm regardless of hormones.
My advice is freeze tons of sperm so u can do ivf/icsi for ur future kids/etc...
Anyways I've been back on trt since may of last year and of course, I train hard, eat hard, etc... but I dropped 7" off my waist (again) and looking better each day. Not to mention more importantly you feel normal again, zest for life, libido, mood, patience, the whole works. Low test is screwy for sure, I bet that's why some old geezers have tempers, mood swings, lack of patience, etc... we need dat der testosterone
Whatever you do NEVER EVER take ssri TRASH... pharmaceutical garbage that WILL f you up in the long term. There have to be hormonal, physiological and environmental factors that will impact your sense of well being, these ssris literally screw with your brain and how they perceive and handle these issues. It's a patch that does not look at root causes and causes further harm!
Certain ssris will also FURTHER kill your libido (there are a few that boost it but anyways the wrong way).
Best of luck homie. There are guys I knew that were put on trt since 18... but none the less it should be for them 40+ year olds. The problem is.. our f'ed up society, government, environment, corporations have polluted our environment with garbage substances, chemicals (such as xenohormones, plastic oil estrogens etc...) genetically modified foods, the 'modern' life style where you are overwhelmed all the time (stress hormones will reduce testosterone too) and it all has an impact on both hormone levels (male and female) and fertility.
People are JUST realizing this is happening now... in a way even testosterone injections are a 'fix' as the root cause is the environment, chemical substances around us, pollution, gm foods, life style, etc.. but...
