Only beta simps drive electric cars.
Virtue signaling.
I rode in my buddies Tesla the other week and was very surprised at how quick it accelerated. Once they get the road tractor set up, I’ll look into buying one.

They are cheaper to run, but it can take years to recover upfront costs."
A Toyota Prius does not make financial sense against comparative gas fueled cars.Tesla cars make even less sense financially. People buy them for emotional reasons.
My honest non expert opinion is that eventually gas prices will rise to the point where battery operated vehicles will become viable. It probably won't happen in my lifetime or at least during the time I am still able to get a license to drive. Oh, but then there are self-driving vehicles in the works. I'd buy one of them. My current car all but drives itself and I love it.
Electric cars only barely make any sense because they are supported by government rebates/credits.Taxpayers supporting wealthy virtue signalers so they can drive Teslas.
Instant torque from an electric motor.I admit they are fun to drive.
Fast but lifeless. Nothing like a twin turbo v8.
