A member of Soulja's management team tells us ... the kid bought himself a G5 jet as a birthday present to himself this week.
The jet cost $35 mil ... but that's just the beginning. We're told the birthday boy is dropping an additional $20 million to pimp out his ride with all sorts of cool stuff ... like 12 custom Italian leather seats, flat screen TVs, 4 liquor bars, a special travertine tiled floor, and Brazilian hardwood cabinets.
We're told S.B. is also gutting the in-flight lavatory -- and replacing it with a giant, LUXURIOUS bathroom. Oh, he's also giving the jet a custom paint job ... to include his logo.
And if that's not enough for someone's 21st -- we're told Soulja's also spending $300,000 to throw himself a blowout birthday party at a Miami nightclub tonight ... and Dwight Howard, Bow Wow, and Sean Kingston are all expected to attend.

This kid is business first. He owns his own label, studio and only pays distribution. This is why he is somewhat hated among rappers...he worked the above before he was even 18 ,bankrolled big time out the gates and pockets his residuals 100%. Hence the song swag on was a direct kick to the face of broke rappers who are slaves to their labels and prob don't pocked anything in the end.
If anything it was wise of him to learn the business first then start his push on his terms rather than sell his soul to a label like over 95% of rapper do.

Record labels pay big money to have albums produced... He is a producer,as well as an artist... So he makes way more than just some street corner punk.. Trust me when I tell you,between making appearances,touring and producing,and shooting videos,plus he takes a nice piece from his artists(that are on his label),this kid is making tons of money... He pisses alot of it away,but I don't think,he's as dumb as he acts... ?

Take Lil Wayne and Birdman for example. Their persona is all swagger, big expensive cars, lavish lifestyle...etc.
What people don't understand is it takes a lot of business sense to make it big like they did and to be on top of the rap/hip hop industry like they have been for years. They are on top of their game because they were in the grind for years and finally made it... it's not by chance you get a stable of exotic super cars in your garage.

Only mentor was his dad who helped him with studio I think when he was 14 or so, and thinking of it is never the issue with anything...it's following through with it. He used the internet to show that crank dat song he wrote, kids loved it, he got with interscope and the rest is history.

Earlier this week, TMZ spoke with Soulja, a member of his management team named Shai Storm and Soulja's assistant -- who all verified Soulja dropped the cash on the private jet as a 21st birthday gift to himself.
In fact, Soulja even went on a radio show yesterday in Miami -- after TMZ's story posted -- and when asked if he bought the plane, coyly told the DJ he was "G5 status" ... but never said the story was false.
Now, Soulja's "spokesperson" Greg Miller has issued a statement on behalf of the rapper ... saying the "elaborate rumors" are "not true."
Funny, because when our reporter spoke with Soulja earlier this week -- and asked him directly, he responded, "Hell yeah ... I bought it."
Sadly, so did we.

They play Soulja's and Lil Wayne's songs on the radio, and even though they are crap, the kids eventually start liking it, because they here it so much. And they don't play The Roots...
You have to listen to underground or listener supported radio stations to hear "real hip-hop" like J Dilla, Black Milk, etc.
Furthermore, Soulja Boy puts himself into the "clown ass" category by all his stupid moves he makes in real life, like the Kat Stacks situation.
