i got a calf question for you dudes
is it really so important to get an extreme and full range of motion on calf raises?
i do one leg calf raises with a heavy bell in one hand when i do them, but i only do them from the floor up, so they are basically from mid-range til top extended position
i know you're supposed to get the bottom stretch on them but it's a real pain in the ass setting up for this by standing on a thick book, not to mention that the thick book that i use isn't so strongly stable lol so i just do them from the floor up to top position
