I saw this a while ago, always amazes me how that 90yr old didn't snap in half.

Roy Mason is the lb for lb strongest geriatric ever.  No anabolics, no GH, just freakish old man strength.  Here he is at 64 doing a 3 finger deadlift with 490lb.   :o

anyone else 'chalkophobic'? Whenever I try to use chalk in the gym, the feeling of it in my hand makes me really uncomfortable. Almost the equivalent of hearing a sound that makes you cringe, like a fork scratching a plate  ???

Interesting guy. Came to lifting late in life after being a truck driver for a long time. He was also a preacher, so he'd preach the word, then do a little lifting show afterward, much of it concentrating on various deadlifts.

Insane arms even back then.
Imo looks better at that size than he did later in his career at his most massive.
Best he ever looked.

I use 'stripper spray' the stuff that pole dancers use, when i'm doing my heaviest set of deads.

Pretty cheap and you only need a couple of sprays and it GLUES the bar to your palms, good stuff.

I'm still unhappy about why I found it in my wife's purse and she doesn't do heavy deadlifts?  ???
