seriously he is the sweetest and best dog ever!!! I take him everywhere with me (the benefits of owning your own company) and he gets along with everything; kids, dogs, cats etc... THe dog's tempermant is priceless
If I end up breeding him and anyone is interested in the puppies let me know cause I hook you up. I can ship anywhere in the country. He's got a little growing to do before that though ;D

I might be getting a bully female to breed with him soon. I have a couple options and things to consider. I may open my own kennel actually---I have the land and have my foundation stud---i just have to get a stable of females. I just have to consider if I have enough time, I know I have the love for it.

You should, since you're obviously got the right skills, background, knowledge and experience, not to mention more than just a casual interest. And Yeah, that's what I was asking before about the other pits.

Those dogs are big and all, but none of them are "natural" pit bulls. The have so many drugs they use on those dogs since birth. Look at those guys. They sell a "secret vitamin" on there website. My buddies pitbull is 100 percent natural and is still 110 pound pitbull. I wouldn't doubt those older pits have lots of health problems,,they are really slow also with that added bulk.

beautiful dogs man, but not the american pit bull terrier. thats the current "in" look, but pit bulls, but even by todays blown up proportion, pits aren't supposed to be over 85 lbs. they aren't supposed to be over muscled or stocky, which all of the dogs in your dog's line are. Somewhere along the line, cane corso, american bulldog or presas were brought into the muggleston line. I think those dogs are beautiful but they aren't the true american pit bull terrier. I would assume that they were originaly formed from the gotti line, or razor's edge which are widely known to have presa, cane corso or american bulldog bred into their line for size reasons.

they are real pitbulls just not bred to according to the breed standard-------
just like taking a yorkie and generation after generation breeding the biggest with biggest---eventually you will produce a bigger yorkie-----you dont need to breed in a different breed to achieve this---will some unscrupulous breeders take shitty shortcuts....im sure a few will, thats human nature but its a rare thing not the rule
breeds are constantly changing-------many mastiffs today are pussies compared to the aggresive and protective nature of mastiffs 100's of years ago when they were primarily used for guarding estates.
would I be against having them labeled as a sub breed of pitbulls, I wouldn't mind this-----they would be known as bully pits as the others would be breed standard. I just get frustrated at teh ignorant speculation that many people assume about them...you yourself ( and you come across as a intelligent mature man) they are all on steroids, the vitamins they sell are juice etc...
The bullies are more show dogs and less suited for the pit's original intention....which I think in todays climate is a good thing. I understand why people who are really into preserving a certain breed's get upset about bullies changing the breed----they think breeding against the breed standard is faux pas---they would never use the biggest most muscular male as a foundation stud, generation after generation, they would use a male that was smaller and fit the breed standard exactly.

These dogs are incredible beasts that inspire awe when people see them so its not surprising that people, who know nothing about the development of the dogs and bloodlines just assume they cant be pure pitbulls or that they are all juiced up. People have and still do achieve incredibly diversity and crazy things in dog breeding. Too imagine a wolf can be breed into a chihuahua is mind blowing...I dont think breeding pitbulls to a be bigger and more muscular dog is that far fetched and has to be explained by someone, who has no idea or experience with developing that pitbull, simply saying "its part mastiff or part bulldog"

Beautiful dog bro. I have a 94lb rednose (Dangerzone bloodline), but those blues look enormous. Must be that neo-mastiff blood line used to achieve the blue color. My white hog dog was huge, 115lbs (pit-american bull dog cross, heavy bones like a american bulldog all pit head shape and tenacity though) unfortunately a young boar got the best of him. The boar ran up under my dog and his tusks tore out the underbelly of my dog. pretty sad. I should have had kevlar on him, but I was younger and thought Kevlar was for pu$$ies. Hind site is 20/20 as he was a great dog and one of the best companions you could ever ask for. Hog hunting is one of the best ways to bring out the game and tenacity of your dog, but don't do it if it is your pet. My rednose will never face a hog. He's far to pretty and no where near game enough, But my white (Playboy..... R.I.P.) was a game mother fcuker. I know it's a redneck sport but I ain't killing shit, guns make hunting to easy. Watching a game pit hit a hog is like a train wreck. Your dog will never feel so proud, it;s weird how they know exactly what to do without command. On the other hand dog fighting....that's for ni99ers. A dog will die everytime, win or lose. Cause if a dog loses, he's not worth breeding and the bloodline ends there, I'm a neck don't get me wrong but some of these back wood necks and ni99ers have no respect. They only see them as a way to make money. They probably could pimp their sisters but wouldn't make as much money as a dogfight would bring in.
Back on topic, Nordic, your bully is badass. Treat him/her good and you'll have a loyal companion for life.

Blue's are real pits. If you wan't to get technical most breed's aren't pure bred. They are bred to achieve a specific size, structure, color or what have you. Once done, they are only bred with the same type dog, thus creating a pure blood line. If you think that I am lying, look at how the bull terrier (spuds mckenzie) was derived. Crossbred with bulldog, dalmation and terrier. Over time the bullterrier came to be. The AKC recognizes it as a purebred and it of course came from cross breeding. Pit's aren't recognized because of the prejudices of the general public, but let's not get it twisted. Do some research. Not all pits look alike, because there are a ton of fly by night kennels out there.
Nordic's blue is one of the finest looking pit's I have ever seen. Here's My Rednose when he was still filling out. Ive got a few more but have to shrink them down.

Crossbred with bulldog, dalmation and terrier. Over time the bullterrier came to be. The AKC recognizes it as a purebred and it of course came from cross breeding. Pit's aren't recognized because of the prejudices of the general public, but let's not get it twisted. Do some research. Not all pits look alike, because there are a ton of fly by night kennels out there.
Nordic's blue is one of the finest looking pit's I have ever seen. Here's My Rednose when he was still filling out. Ive got a few more but have to shrink them down.
OH SHIT------I love red nose pits---great drive on them!! He looks awesome--I love his face, especially the wrinkled droopy skin. 8)
exactly right about breeds Dballin----------a breed will produce a similar dog every time while a mutt (crossbreed a bulldog and a pit the first time) you will get a lot of diversity in terms of the looks in the litter, some will look really really pitlike while some will look like bulldogs and others may look like a mix.

Man if you ever make it to North Central FL, Give me a shout. Me and my buddies load up the trucks and head out to Stark or Palatka. We use bey dogs to track down and corner the hogs. You walk your bulldog out on lead(if you let them run with the pack sometimes they get excited any may attack another dog). Once the hogs backed up, you just let him of the chain and watch him go to work. Every dog is different, some catch dogs go for a leg, some for a shoulder, some go straight for the throat. 8) Some may say it's crazy, but if you witness it in real life, it's truly a spectacle to behold. Watching a 80-115lb dog take down a 150-200+lb hog is amazing. :o My brother in law is a riffle hunter but to me that is so boring. Sitting in a deerblind for hours in the cold is not for me. When you use your dog, you're right up in the action. It's pretty cool. You need to have some quick reflexes cause you could end up climbing a tree real quick if the dog looses his grip and the hog bolts. All you need is a good 4wd, a few good bey dogs, a couple hog dogs, A big fuggin knife ;D and a pistol. A 9mm is fine but I use a .45 cause some of the jokers are big. Usually the dog will wear down the hog and all you have to to is slit it's throat, but if it's still panting hard put one behind his ear to end it. A buddy of mine reached down to with his knife and got a tusk through his hand. Bastard just poured some wild turkey on it and wrapped it and took that big son of a bitch back to the camp. Don't ever forget to cut an ear off for the dog. ;) Also after you skin it, save it. It's good for the younger dogs. Attach it to a spring pole and you can see the little guys going after it just like the big boys.
I can't say enough about the breed. The stuff they put on tv as a result of irresponsible dog owners is media biased because they are looking to get ratings. If you look at the statistics, Rott's were responsible for more dogbites and fatalities than pits. My white, was a beast in the woods and a gentle giant with kids. My red is my house dog, believe me no one's coming in. But he'd take off with anyone that had a cool truck. When I'm not working, he rides with me everywhere I go. Remember these guys are terriers and need stimulation just as much as exercise. I'm sure you've already witnessed the night crazies. My boy runs laps then hits some donuts, he gets them legs going so fast you it's like he's doing a burn out. The wife say's "Look he's burning fur!!!!"
If you want to humble yourself, go to a tire store and get an old steel belted radial for a 15 inch rim. Use your thumbs and press down on it, then watch what your boy can do with his jaws!!! The wife, tried to throw the tire, she got it about 5 maybe 10 feet. Both of dogs can sling those jokers like frisbees.
Truly a magnificent breed. I can't say enough about them.

i was just experimenting with him and it workrd pretty good he did gain som lean muscles, got much stronger and faster but his head was growing like crazy, cycles were at maximum 3 week for 10grams ,i also added deca in his last cycle.

youd be suprised at what pits can look like with only a months worth of walking, springpole work, and a bit of weight pulling. Ive seen some absolute beastly looking dogs just consistant work. How old was your dog when he passed?

I have never given any of my dogs drugs. I does me no good, and gear is harder to come by. Agree with Bignbloated about the fact that they can get huge by being worked. At the same time I know some guys that give their dog's Fina. Not to make them meaner (or in massive amounts by any stretch), but to enhance their physical appearance and give them some of their pep back after they have had their "boys" clipped off. A buddy of mine's dobby would walk around with his head down all the time, it was kind of depressing. They only had them neutered to prevent the dreaded "C" word(won't say it cause my guys still intact). I know these guys and they wouldn't intentionally do anything to harm their dogs. If anything they just wanted their old dogs back. I can't really judge what others do with their dogs(some dislike me cause I hunt with mine but I eat the fucking PIG), unless of course it's something that is going to harm the dog, like hitting them or worse fighting them. If that's the case, it's not a dog (companion) but a commodity. Those fuckers should wait till about 5-5:30pm then go stand in traffic.

me and my brother raised many pitbulls ,i did train them on regular basis like 2 times a week and that includes the springpole, weight pulling + jogging on the treadmill. but this pit "west" was the only one who i gave 'performance enhancing drugs' but i did it right, he got much stronger , he was pullin weights like Ronnie Coleman on deadlifts lol,,,,,
btw, he died in a accident and had nothin to do with AAS
unlike injectable steroids ,d-bols were not meant to be for animals ,but as i said tried it on my dog and it worked well,,,there are many veterinary graded steroids that are specially made for animals like cows,horses, and dogs,,,,and can also be used by human, these drugs are widely used in animal treatment, meat production, horse races, dog contests, etc.

She's a blue fawn female. Comes from great lineage. The anticipation is killing me. After losing my Rednose to my wife, she should take both of their places. More loyal for sure. (Speaking in terms of the wife, My dog could do no wrong.) Unfortunately I can't deal with a puppy right now as I am swamped with work. She is just over a year so she's perfect for me.

a little update----my boy is now 80lbs of ripped hard muscle---his head is starting to really fill out----he is now 9.5 months old. He'll continue to grow and thicken up until he is 2---his blood lines are notoriously late bloomers

Gotta love the white and green bone.. Each of my boys have one, it's the only toy other then the red kong ball they haven't ate yet.. I swear everytime I walk into Petsmart they ask what I am bringing back. My boys have started going through a black XL kong every week. I just keep taking them back and they keep giving me a new one.. I guess the lady said it is against there rules to tell me I can't buy anymore. I haven't paid for one in 6 months. Just grab the pieces and take the chewed one in and the boys eyes light up when they see a new one... got to love em...

Just to save you trips to the pet store, someone reccommended to me using lacrosse balls for the dogs. Lacrosse balls are about the size of a baseball but just a solid hunk of tough ass rubber. I've yet to try it out but seems like it could work. Macy demolishes those kongs as well and shes wee baby compared to your dogs Sin. I dont think they are for power chewers like pits.

my vet did a great job but i did have to tape one of his ears for a couple weeks after they healed up, after the first week-----his ear even before it was cropped had a funny bend to it so I wasnt surprised I had to tape it, but I was surprised how great it ended up...I was afraid it would be all uneven and bending weird for life.
he's great, I take him everywhere, he's trained to be off leash---in my yard I never walk him with a leash, he knows and obeys "come" "stay", "sit", even when he is in a full sprint, if I shout "sit, stay" he'll stop dead and sit and stay there until I come over or until I call him. when out in public I walk him with a leash though, since I dont trust people and for the fact he's a scary looking dog.

this dog as a puppy made me into a zen master bro-----------he was so hyper I would have to tell myself a million times a day, "he's just a puppy, he's just a puppy" and then I would calm down and work with him
I used to get frustrated when I first owned dogs but now I stay calm and dont get frustrated. I always use positive reinforcment----I also use a pinch collar, I discipline him through that if Im walking or in the house (the pits cant even really feel it since it distributes teh pinch evenly throughout the neck and simulates teh mother's disciplinary action, great tool).
Im the type of dude who could never in a million years hit my dog. people who do that arent doing teh dog or themselves any favors---it just makes them more aggressive or neurotic.
the hardest command was "come" and "go inside" since he would turn that into a game of "catch me if you can" and run away every time I got within 10 ft of him :P. I overcame that by doing a lot of leash training (with treats and a pinch collar) and then gradually using a longer and longer lead (up to 30+ft). NOw when I say "go inside" he sprints as fast as he can up the yard and up the stairs into the house ;D, of course when he comes in a give him a minuscule pinch of butter ;) ;D ;D

My biggest thing is off the leash obedience and trying to get her to listen and not to run off. Little bitch could probably be walked twice a day, 30 miles a day and still be a handfull. She is the same age as your big guy.

I know some close minded folks think of hog hunting as a redneck sport buy hey I'm a redneck. It really brings out the fight and instinct of the dog and It is far from dogfighting. Too me, I'd rather watch mother nature in action than shoot hogs with a riffle. It is a sight to behold to see a dog you trained do such work. Right now I have two. I have a female "Dixie" (half red and half blue, Razor's Edge line)that is my house dog, and a white Male "Gringo" he's my hog dog and the son of my former white "Playboy" who was killed in action. The pic in my previous post with the other whites is Gringo (the dog on top going at the neck along with the other red collard white, "Hammer". "Thor" has the hog by the leg ). They (the whites) are treyline, bred for this specific purpose. They are gentle with all people and kids. I keep him outside cause he's always trying to mount my female plus he keeps the possum and raccoon problem to a minimum.
I had a beautiful blond Rednose (Dangerzone line ), but the wife got him in the divorce. He is posted previously in this thread buy I have posted his pic below.
BTW...The thick leather collars are only used while hunting so as the dogs don't actually get bit themselves by another dog in the heat of the action. My buddy lost a collar so hammer had to go bareback so to say.

Thanks guys, I think she till has some time to fill out. Or so I've heard that about pits growing into their second year. I'm not looking to breed her though, If I ever do I'll let you know sin haha. Thanks bro, I am at Petsmart about once a week returning toys as I buy the tough ones so I can take them back when the boys shred em and people always get this wierd look when they see the toys and the baby. Customers always say what kind of dog did that, that you would let around that baby.. I just laugh say two pits and watch their face.. The people at the pet store always laugh cause I take the boys in once a month with the baby and they know us. Obviously when you bring back $60 worth of toys a week they start to know you on a first name basis..... ha-ha

My oldest pit Menace was born May 31st my daughter Riley was born Sept 7 they have grown up together and they are best friends. My Youngest pit Ben is going to be two and may and My daughter Madison will be 3 in May. My wife and I bought the dogs as gift for each girls, and they are there dogs. First pits my wife has owned and she doesn't want to own any other dog! She was a skeptic at first since she had only owned dobermans and rotts, but she loves them like crazy! This morning when the wife and I got up Ben's cock is swollen like 4 times its normal size, but it isn't out. Everything I have found online is for the penis that is swollen and stuck out. His is still in and it looks swollen all the way to his balls. We only have 3 vets in the whole area and they cant get him in for non emergencies for 2 months. I started a thread on the Pet Board "Pics for Vet". I put a few pictures up over there brotha. Gonna hold off until at least tomorrow on any vet visit partially because I don't want to pay the Sunday emergency rate and also because he is urinating fine and playing fine. Been giving him low dose IBU and plain yougurt. Seems less red today although I can tell it hurts. He's trying to play it off so I don't think he's a pussy ;D
NB.....read your thread about your dogs goin at it a bit and I'm having kind of the same issue. Ever since my wife brought home that little puppy last week, Ben has been growling at Menace and the pup if they get too close to my wife or I. Been stayin calm and just takin him into another room for a few minutes and trying to stay positive about it but if it continues, the pup is getting a new home. I've had a few incidents with the boys before we got the pup, but nothing along these lines...

just stay very calm when you are disciplining Ben-----I would suggest rubbing the puppy in the blankets that Ben sleeps in and let teh puppy sleep on those blankets----I would also say take the blankets that the puppy sleeps on and let Ben sniff them, every time he sniffs it, give him a treat, this will make Ben associate the puppy posistively
also when he introduce them give ben a treat when he smells the puppy calmly nad take the puppy and ben on walks together on the leash, this will reenforce that the puppy is now part of the pack.
Do not let ben growl at all, when he does make him lay down and be in a submissive posistion.
let me know how things progress---just dont freak out nad make any situation anxious for either of them, but I would strongly reccomend doing the blanket thing and do the leash walking at least 3 times a day!!!! this will really bond them together

Good ideas right there bro....I'll try the blanket thing. The pup is a shade over 4 weeks so he may not be up for walks just yet. He still stumbles and falls over sometimes ;D

Yeah shes a blast. Runs circles around any dog she gets playin with. She was damn near jumping loops over and under my friends boxer. Shes not too bad though once she gets out and is done being an attention whore she settles right into the couch and starts to snooze. All her brothers were brindle. Her parents were brindle. Shes got some lines on her. Shes very good looking in person. Loves to dock jump.

I thought this was a pit thread...chicks with Chi's only show how much of a follow they are, if it wasn't for another blond called paris Hilton, she wouldn't have had it.
Funny thing yesterday, White Fang was on and that fight scene with the Pit reminded me of this thread, and how the "Pit's" of the beginning of the thread do not resemble that dog at all. And then it clicked, because for the most part, Pit's in the US tend to be bred like they are going to The Pit to fight, whereas these pits are bred to look fearsome, which doesn't do anything in the Pit. I guess I'm trying to say, is that for the most part they are bred here to be athletes or have the athletic look that BigNBloated girl has.

Thanks Parker. She really can. I get her out and run 3 miles with her most days of the week. She comes home and acts like we hadn't even left to go yet.

Sounds like you need to do some research. Last thing you want to do is get a big game ass dog like a dogo and not know anything about them.
