One of the things I teach my kids is to respect teachers.

I made that mistake of being dick to school teachers when I was a kid as I didn't have much guidance.

You don't realise until you're older that they were just trying to help you and how tough their job is. No way I'd want to be in charge of 30 nearly full-grown adults 8 hours a day Monday to Friday. That's hell.

Ghetto communities don't try to instil that respect for authority. Instead they push their kids to be more loud and ignorant lol.

That is really good you are doing that. You can't change the past, but you are addressing wrongdoings that you are now aware of, which is the sign of a good man.

First thing, I do wonder if that teacher is a tranny. Their voice is pretty deep, and the video quality isn't that good to tell. I apologize if she's a real woman.

As to the second part, somewhat. I'm not one of those people that wishes liberals dead, but I do snicker and shrug when something a bit bad happens to them. Sometimes people need reminding that we do need laws, standards of decorum, etc.... Many times that reminding needs to come in the form of a punch in the face.

No. I actually do listen to NPR in the car sometimes (self-outed, I know). The bias seems worse than in years past or maybe I just notice it more. They also have a newish narrator with a very strong pickaninny accent which grates my ears and makes it even less tolerable. I don't have good news alternatives on my car radio though. It's that or music.

I really did like NPR for 15+ years, coming from the North East, it was actually more fair and balanced than many news stations around here. I'd say it was 60-65% left vs 40-35% right most of the time, which is good for NE/Mid-Atlantic. Then something happened around 2016 when Trump became a serious candidate, it just went "Orange Man Bad!" full steam out of really nowhere. I tried it again around 2020, and it really was a bad parody of itself. It couldn't just be an interview with Black, Gay, White, Woman, or Latin XYZ. Now it had to be "Next up, an interview with a gay, black, amputee sex worker who moonlights as a social justice writer."

Just gross "make sure to check the right boxes" radio.
