Branch was robbed - Great Interview! Branch quote of the show - "They reward all the pussies". how's Flex at the end of the Interview calling Branch "Branch Wheeler" That Flex is so self obsessed, he has trouble forgeting about himself for even a moment. As for Dex, he is highly overrated - too small and no calves at all - Dex hasn't improved in five years. He sulked like a little girl when handed third place - in-gracious loser. He should compete in the 202 class, he would only have to lose ten pounds and he would make the weight. Way too small to mix it with the big boys.

Flex was talking too Branch about his ability to pose for longer periods of time now without sucking in air after a short period of time like the other bodybuilders were . Branch talked about how he spent 45 minutes a day practising posing and he treated it like a workout. Flex asked him if it annoyed him that the bodybuilders were given more breaks now between posing and Branch responded by saying it did bother him, he was there to fight and was able to continue posing without a break, hence the comment ""they reward all the pussies"

I dont know what everyone is going on about, his arms are huge and way better than dorians when he was winning Mr Olympias.

His arms were probably the worst on stage when they're hanging down or in a most muscular... it's some kind of optical illusion, they look ok in a front double bi, but when they're at his side relaxed they look tiny..

For his build (torso, legs and shoulders) his arms are definetly his weak body part.

Another (better) example of what I'm talking about... I think what it comes down to is, his arms are big from the side, but looking directly at him from the front they seem thin or underdeveloped

I don't know I would describe Branch's forearms as twigs, but they aren't huge like lee priests or Dorian yates, but there comparable too the majority of the field. Huge forearms are like calves, few and far between. Ronnie Colemans forearms were never impressive, and his triceps were fairly average too.

His placing didn't suprise me, as soon as I saw the prejudging pics it was blatantly obvious he would be top three!

Ditto, although I wouldn't say anything if they'd made him swap places with Dex either.
By "surprised everyone", I'm referring to all the pre-contest talk in the mags and the forums, where no one as much as considered him a contender for the top 6.

I have never been a fan for him, but I am becoming now .. Branch totally deserves his 2nd place. :)
I think Dexter was lucky to get 3rd because both of Phil & Kai were off during Pre-Judging where the results were taken.. ;)

Ditto, Branch is a true champion. Very Dorian-like in his application.
Lets hope he continues to widen his back, improve his shape.
Branch is unstoppable.

Your last sentence makes no sense. He beat ALL the big boys last year, and beats nearly all of them every year since 2001.

Erik Fankhouser .. turned pro in 08 I think. Known for his lower body as well as his horrible teeth. Very pleasing shape imo .. ask google for some pics.

Arms look good to me. Yeah, forearms are behind but arms are fine.
Guys like Heath have unbelieveable arms but his arms and shoulders are out of balance with his chest/torso...so it can go both ways.

His belief towards his god is working for his core conciousness and it made him extremely confident.

He seems to have that inner drive like Dorian did, I tell you what, this sets up a Cutler vs Branch showdown next year, I got a feeling Cuts wants to go for #4 and Branch wants his first real bad now that he got a second.

That first picture is actually kinda shocking. He has Atwood-esque rectangular shape and looks to be bordering on stage 1 Palumboism.
