The only thing "st00pid" here is you going out of you way to argue with me knny.  You remind me of a kindergardener with a crush.  ::)

First off if you don't believe bb is a sport, what do you think of "football" (as that was mentioned in my post) knny, and although bodybuilding does not fall in the "category" of sports, it is viewed by sports fans, when broadcasted it is on sports channels, and the fact that physical strength, agility, stamina and sacrifice are involved in such, along with competition ... I personally would categorize it as a sport, not just an industry.

actually the base for bodybuildings fans are made up from the gay community...which most of the gay community are not sports fans...

Good point.  Mike, you already have 15 years of training behind you, right?  And you are where you are without claiming to be natural, right?  So I hope that your great determination to take your physique to a near pro-like level in "a few years" is muted by a full understanding of the health risks that could lie ahead from doing whatever it takes in pursuit of your lofty goal.  (Nonetheless, your determination is commendable.)

Simple;

Football = skill

Bodybuilding = no skill

I've been in the "Industry" for 30 years and competed at the National level and not once have I ever considered bodybuilding a sport.

I work with professional athletes and the workouts I do with them takes "skill" (speed, agility, transition) along with there regular strength workout and combine prep, and like I said in previous threads there is not ONE pro or top NPC competitor that can match the skill of an "athlete"!

most professional bodybuilders could start in the nfl on the line, or some at linebacker...some would even be all pro, just with their size and strength.    hell...ronnie would probably be the best d lineman of all time if he played.

so no one in the nfl should be playing?? because bodybuilders are better?

Not to get off topic, but I need to respond to this.  No professional bodybuilder would stand a chance on a pro, or even college (except maybe D-III), D-line.  Not only do they lack sufficient size (body builders are way too short) and speed (for DE or LB), they lack the necessary skill (of which there is a lot more than most people seem to realize).  If any of them could succeed at football, they would have pursued football.

You've lost a lot of muscle.  Stop listening to LLES.  I'm not being a dick, I'm being truthful.  Every bodybuilder knows how to manipulate thier own body.  Someone you should take advice from knows how to Successfully manipulate other people's bodies.

After seeing your picture, you don't have anything to say. How can you have any opinion? Your friggin stomach is twice as wide as your shoulders,& you posted a photo-shopped pic of yourself & then deleted it.You have NOTHING to say,zero credibility. Then you posted these absolute ludicrous lifts such as a 357lb bench press,you are completely full of A-number 1 sh*t ,fatboy. If your weak ass could press 1/2 of that you'd be lucky, not to mention a 183lb curl , not only are you a complete liar , your a bad 1. Do you realize what a absolute MORON you looked like having your pic taken w/top IFBB pro & wearing a shirt that said, "Shut the "F" up & train", when it looks like you have never seen a gym ? I bet Jay rolled his eyes when he seen you coming. Did you give him advice on how to take the crown from Ronnie you dim-wit? Like I told you before Lard-ass, just because you've done 5-10 pushups ( & judging from your spectacular shape ,you needed at least 3 sets to complete the reps) & bought John Basedow's video's ( which are not working) & met Jay Cutler, does not make you a BB'er. Until you get onstage Fat-boy ( & looking at your pic,you need a good 10 years of heavy gear,growth,t-3, clen ,a tummy-tuck & Lipo) you have nothing to say. So shut up,take your pear-shaped middle-aged Amish-woman's physique & go to the nearest gym & get on the nearest piece of cardio equipment & leave the contest to those on the board who have been onstage or are getting ready to get onstage,wanna-b. ::)

What's your ab routine look like?

If I were you I would start doing some low back extensions to bring out you lower lumbar (christmas tree) better.  Before a show I would do 3 sets of 15-20 reps with a 25lb. plate 3 times a week.
