No sure that Trump has anything either except a lot of self hype. He may have something to worry about though. "Trump’s GOP critics eye a potential primary challenge"

"No, there is no automatic nomination by the parties for a sitting president. An incumbent president still has to go through their party's nominating procedure and people are free to run against them. In recent years, for example: - in 1976, President Gerald Ford faced a tough primary battle with Ronald Reagan."
In 2012, I predicted Obama would beat Romney, not because I wanted him to win but because Romney was a stiff and incumbent Presidents are hard to knock off regardless of party.
Looking at this upcoming election, the economy is doing well and we’re not in a war. While politics does tend to be cyclical, these are not conditions under which the opposition tends to gain ground.
Without getting into the specific races, the Democratic Party is basically a mess. You have the old guard, shriveled up old bag, Pelosi, a dope, Chuck Schumer and a crazy old ghetto queen, Waters. Then you have the new guard, some dude with ties to the Muslim brotherhood, an egghead socialist college professor, a decrepit old socialist, and a 28-year-old socialist all of whom want to turn the country into Venezuela. I’ll admit Cortez is pretty cute and I’d fuck her in a heartbeat, but that’s a separate issue.
