Matt Kline refused to work with feds to catch Titus
« on: December 24, 2005, 10:40:10 PM »
They caught Craig because his dumb ass used his own cell to make calls and send text messages all the way from Vegas to Mass.

And, since he had the girl hiding in a hotel room for 2 days, I doubt he'd want her dead.

Now the wifey....  :-X

Did it ever occur to you that Craig might have wanted to get caught? I know it might sound hard to believe but it's possible. If Kelly did do it I can only imagine how he must have felt. He has 3000 miles to think a lot about what happened.

if craig really really did it - he would have been out like a light. craig wanted to get caught. his wife did it - then they both tripped out like ooo sheet what to do. craig got busted cheated so prolly though he needed to help in some way. i think they were both on something as well.

I do feel bad for him

He drove 3000 miles with the woman he loved.  With the guilt of fucking around.  Blaming himself for what happened.

What a mess this is.

he knew a risk in getting caught.  even osama be laden stays off the phone to avoid being captured.  when i first heard he went to liquidate assets i thought wow he's going to see a banker.   lol and then it turns out to be some drug dealer.  hmmm

on what proof do you have that he did not work with the FBI ?    his word ? ::)

240, are you sure  Matt is just not trying to cover his ass from looking bad ?

sorry but I think I need more than his word ( if that is all you are baseing this  on ) to prove to me that he did not work with the Police,

Excellent point.  Here's what I shared at the GeneX board:

I want you to consider these facts:

1) They told multiple individuals what their plans were *after* the car was burned.

2) They did not leave the country immediately, nor is there any evidence that they even attempted to do so.

3) They told people of their intent to go to Boston and then that's exactly where they went.

4) When they were finally apprehended, they were discovered in a very public place, having made no attempts to alter or conceal their identity.

5) During the time they were on the run, they were using their own cell phones to contact people.

All five of those - separately and together - indicate to me that their desire to flee was NOT sincere. Based on these five facts, I'm ready to argue that they actually wanted to get caught. Once they realized just how much of a downward spiral they were in, they decided to leap for a safety net, but just didn't know how the landing would take place.

If they had honestly hoped to flee, they would've headed directly to Mexico or Canada and never looked back. Stopping at Nail-o-Rama is not the activity of someone looking to get away with a crime.

He was contacted about passports? This should have been coordinated from Mexico.

I think a whole thread should be posted with these stupid comments you make!  YOu can't keep your story sraight just like the suspects in this case.  Where did you say your donations go?  Bond funds?

You're in love with Craig Titus.

you were still on the misc.sexacts.beastiality board nine months ago when Craig threatened to hospitalize me.

Then he called my cell and said if i ever came to Vegas I wouldn't be leaving.

Craig's a good guy.

Assistant District Attorney Jason Mohan said yesterday investigators who searched Titus’ truck after he was arrested found $8,300 hidden in an aerosol can with a false bottom.

But George argued that wasn’t enough money to get the couple out of the country.

‘‘The $8,300 was it,’’ he said. ‘‘There’s nothing (in Massachusetts) to liquidate.’’

Except, when the Feds are involved ,the first place they beef up security is at the borders closest to their last known location, Airports, Trains, & Cruise ships (which would prob been the easiest way to get lost). It was pretty much well-known they were going to Mass. M.C. said Craig was broke, but while 8,3k is not alot to start your life over, it would be enough to hide somewhere for a while.

Border between Vermont and Canada's not difficult to cross in some areas. After selling the truck he'd have over 10K available to get to Greece. A lot better than being in jail.

Iffy but better than jail. No one knows how many terrorists they've missed in catching one.
