The funniest part is that he defends the IFBB. The IFBB does not pay him shit for his efforts. Yet he will defend the IFBB for what? With all due respect he is a pro bodybuilder that does not compete.  ???

& to be very honest....

It took him forever to get his pro card in his beloved IFBB.

Once he obtained it....he placed poorly & rarely competes like his buddy Sheri

In baseball or football or whatever major sport, if a star or someone gets in trouble many times they come forward to support the guy.  Like with drugs.  In fact they even put them through rehab.  They will come forward and say this or that person needs help and we are behind him.  The IFBB on the other hand would no way show any kind of support in this instance because of its severity.  And to tell you the truth I don't they would ever show support for any of their BB's.  It is just the Weider way.  Hopefully when Joe becomes ill or real sick everyone will show him the same support he has shown.

He's got money, he doesn't need their support.  Besides, I'm sure he has the support of his family and close friends... what does he care what a bunch of useless roid-monkeys think of him?

I get a big fat ZERO...it's not a paid position, actually, it costs ME money if you want to get down to it. The position of "Athletes Representative" isn't an IFBB position..it's a position that represents the ATHLETES (thus the name). If anything, the items I present for approval on behalf of the athletes are not in favor of the IFBB, they're in the best interests of the athletes.

So basically you are a self ellected unpaid rep for pro bodybuilding contestents. And you are unpaid because few of the pro bodybuilders really make any money and they are not going to give you any of what little if any they do make.

So much for the bodybuilding "industry." It can't even sustain the contestents much less a contestent rep.

It's been established that they were pro bodybuilders/ fitness competitors in the IFBB....now what? Why is this relevant in any way shape, or form?

Then why did you even go on the news programs?

You know, Chick was well spoken but really gave no substance. He was there to act like Craig and Kelly really had nothing to do with bodybuilding. Which was and is a lie.

Here's the thing: Bodybuilding does not need to be saved from Craig and Kelly. Bodybuilding needs to be saved from itself.

Bob Chick tapdancing:

But...but...but.... they haven't paid their 2006 IFBB dues yet!

Uhhh.... Bob.... it's still 2005, and Craig & Kelly both have paid-up 2005 IFBB cards.

But...but...but.... for all intents and purposes 2005 was over with the Olympia!

Uhhh.... Bob....regardless, it's still 2005, and these people you're disowning are current, paid, members of your organization.

But...but...but.... they told someone who told someone who told someone who told me they weren't gonna compete anymore, so they were "retired"!

Uhhh...Bob... none of that changes the fact that they are both fully-paid members in good standing of your organization through the end of 2005.

But...but...but...  *bob's head explodes, bloodying his shiny blue shirt*

The IFBB doesn't do anything for it's dues paying members now, why the hell would they step up for Craig and Kelly in this situation?          ::)

How cute... Rochesterians sticking up for one another.   ::)

No, just stating that.  They get no health or any benefits.  You have to pay them to be a member...etc etc.   So they are really going to help them now?   lolololoz

No one expects the IFBB to help them, but for Bob to go and act like they aren't part of IFBB pro bodybuilding is just being disingenuous.

Sorry, I forgot I was dealing with someone with a limited education.

Here's a link to the word's definition:  http://www.answers.com/disingenuous&r=67

In the future I'll try to keep my word usage more simple when talking to you.

it's no different than the NFL, NBA or Professional Baseball...

thats one of the reason the IFBB will never be considered a sport

Those organizations pay you to participate.    There is a BIG difference.

Both organizations are still making money off of the participants.

So?   If you get hurt in football, baseball, you still get paid.

Only if it's during practise or the game

Quote
Get ready for a comp and get hurt you get nothing.   You don't get anything unless you place in a contest.

So why would they do anything for C & K?       ::)

Because other organizations will at least speak up on their behalf or have some sort of representation

These other organizationsare can't afford any tarnished image of their participants.  They are looked as role models for kids.
