I know you want to go after those who employee them but when they are used as independent contracters they are not employees of the company so this wouldnt affect these companies...most construction companies that employee illegals use this tactic

If they don't know the Venezuelan flag from the Uruguayan flag, couldn't they just Google the Venezuelan flag or look it up in a book and get it right, before paying all that money for these billboards all over the state?  Let's not forget that Venezuela is the fourth-leading supplier of imported crude and refined petroleum products to the United States, and also the owner of CITGO.

This billboard is sponsored by "Volunteers For Local Hire", a labor group backed by the AFL-CIO.  The AFL-CIO is a national trade union center, the largest federation of unions in the United States.

This group seems to be upset that not everyone who is involved in the construction of the plant was born in the United States.  They claim to have proof that Volkswagen is hiring workers from the countries listed above, but they have not provided any proof yet.  If they can't get Venezuela's flag right, how can we believe they got their information about these alleged foreign workers right?

This billboard is embarrassing for Tennesseans.  Educated people who pass by this billboard or see it on the Internet are going to think "No wonder Volkswagen didn't hire these dumb, uneducated Tennesseans.  They don't know the Venezuelan flag from the Uruguayan flag, and they can't even look it up."

How is not knowing the Venezuelan flag from the Uruguayan flag a misspelling?  How is putting this up on a billboard all over the state of Tennessee without bothering to look it up first a misspelling?  And this is not a big deal to you?

Give me some examples.  You say most construction companies, so you must know something.  Tyson Food and Smithfield Foods are you biggest problems, and they are not using contractors.  Why can't you go after the contractors too?
