Title: Quincy Taylor - strength mutant?
Post by: Scimowser on February 11, 2006, 08:39:34 AM
i remember reading an interview he did for Flex in 20 Q's with the Champs a few years back. He said he benched 450 as a young teen and used to curl 50lb dumbbells when he was 12. Whats the validity in those claims? Jay says he benched 350 the very first time he went to a gym but he struggles for 10-12 with it these days

I read that too--- Jay picked up a picnic table first time he tried, Jay benched 315 the first time he laid down on a flat bench... Makes no sense he'd gain 100 pounds of muscle and still lift the same numbers  :-\

You know what goes great on a ham sandwich?  A half pound beef and potato burrito.

Have you been dieting lately, 240?  Nothing makes me meaner than time away from delicious taco bell.  In fact, last night I had a grilled stuft steak burrito with nacho cheese and sour cream.  Best bulking food on earth.

No... I still eat crappy, but I'm getting leaner due to cardio.  I just eat crappy at home, instead of fast food.  Since I work from home most of the time now, I am never on the road to eat out.

what disapoints me most about Jay is that he can hardly curl. he has HUGE biceps and you see him grunting and swinging his body with a 95 pound bar... hell i can do that.

I think you'd have better luck searching for a good Titus getaway plan than you would a lean pic of 240...

yeah, and when i was 13, i would do squats with cows and bulls on my back and just carry them on my back around the farm.  when there's no other kids around it's kinda boring so i had to find some distraction....
