i believe with the leading liver protectant products (i.e. LIV 52, Milk Thistle, etc), the differences are so minute that it isn't a big deal. i have used Milk Thistle, and I have used LIV 52, and I have used nothing; and I am still alive and feel great.

I personally take LIV 52 because that sems to be the consensus, but then i have never done an experiment, nor do I know of any studies that show which one helps to keep liver values normal.
