I'm 24 and have been competing since last year. Are you asking what kind of lifts I do or how much weight with each lift? Basically I stick to the basics but lift as heavy as I can. I have a 4 to 5 day split and switch up my sets/reps every 2 weeks. Last year I competed at 115 and on stage was too thin, I lost quite a bit of muscle while dieting and didn't give myself enough time to build up my physique before I started cutting. This year I have hit the weight room hard, actually I was up to 140 for awhile mainly trying to put on some size in my legs, shoulders and back.
For my first show I only used protein powder and I knew I couldn't do that again if I want to place on the National Level. I started using more supplements and I seriously have had some great results. I have only maxed out on squats (although it was after doing 4 previous sets of 8-12 reps and leg extensions) at 315 and have never truly maxed out on other lifts. SLDL's, I rep sets of 6 at 185. Leg Press, my last set was 8 plates on each side. Bench-repped 135.
The people at my gym are pretty use to me but I like going to other gyms (especially when lifting legs) because half the guys there haven't squatted in 5 years and are amazed. Its a silly little pleasure of mine but I like being strong:)
