I remember watching Jushin Liger in the UK before he made that gimmick popular. New Japan used to send a lot of development talent over here And Liger was one of them. He wrestled as Flying Fuji Yamada (unmasked) and I remember watching him for the 1st time live and my jaw dropping from the stuff he did in the ring. This was about 85/86 time and with british wrestling being very traditional (using mountevens rules which incorporated rounds) and the moves he did looked like something out of the Matrix at the time.
His style has slowed up a lot since then but hes still worth watching everytime he gets in the ring.
Here he is wrestling Mark Rollerball Rocco (was the original Black tiger in New Japan) for the middleweigh title.
