Which Getbigger is this? - Breivik's pen pal
« on: April 19, 2012, 07:34:58 AM »
A Massachusetts "pen pal" of Norwegian mass killer Anders Breivik has stepped forward to publicly declare his esteem for the gunman and his battle against "cultural Marxism and the Islamization of Norway." Kevin Forts, 23, made the front page of Norway newspaper VG, which printed excerpts from letters believed to be written by Breivik to the young Worchester man, saying: "I have received letters from supporters in 20 countries, but you appear to be someone who can write well. Yes, I am absolutely interested in discussing ideological issues with you, and am thinking about how we can work together."

Forts praises Breivik's "moral conscience," calling him a "nationalist and a patriot, and not the terrorist neo-Nazi that the media portrays him to be," reports Der Spiegel. He admits that Breivik's killing of 77 people, mostly teenagers, was "atrocious but necessary," though it doesn't need to be repeated. "I believe," at some point in the future, "it will be impossible to hate Breivik, and you will see that he was actually acting in a matter of preemptive war," adds Forts, who says his perspective is unique in his community. But Forts isn't entirely alone in his admiration of Breivik. The killer has received more than 100 letters of support from Sweden, Russia, Germany, and Britain, according to his most recent psychological report. "These letters contain the same political views held by the defendant," said a prison report. Says Breivik: "I welcome these letters from people who share the same opinion, and with whom I can work together in the future." Check out Forts' videotaped interview on Breivik with VG here.
