I agree with this too. I've talked to people who have seen the carnage up close and they are very bitter, angry, a little disillusioned.

Then he should let his superiors know he has had a mental breakdown and needs to be pulled out. At this point, i would not want him covering my ass in any way, shape or form, there are tougher marines than him that can handle war.

American lives were never lost to an Iranian terrorist before we attacked and took over Iraq. We made new enemies. Pick any country in the world, and if we did the same thing we did in Iraq we would make new enemies. They were not terrorists before the occupation, they were Iraq citizens.
Also, like a magnet, we attracted fighters from other countries. Put 140,000 soldiers in another Mulsim country and you will see the same reactions.

Mr. Right wing robot, we watched (the U.S.) while jews were getting slaughtered for years, we did not fight ww2 for the jews. We were supplying weapons long before we first sent in troops. The holocaust happened and we did jack shit about it. Read more than one side, look at both sides.

First of all - we never "invaded"...we were there to liberate Iraq from Saddam. Bush's gamble was that the country would unify and help us help themselves - they didn't and that's why Iraq (and Bush) is in the mess that it's in.

Bush will never recover from this - the Republican party will. The Dems - who the hell knows what they stand for. Clinton voted for the war "with complete conviction" based on HER research and HER inputs from Bill's intelligence info on Iraq - NOW...she blames it all on Bush. They'll lose again in '08.
