Houston is not very "Texas". It's very much atypical.

Oklahoma or Louisiana would be superior.
Ive never met more idiots than I have since moving here two years ago. Its like a bubble full of morons, and if someone is even somewhat intelligent they act like they are a genius from Harvard, due to the high percentage of morons that surround them.

politics aside - conservative women tend to be much less desireable than their liberal counterparts. fatter, more judgemental, less uninhibited, more prudish, etc.

More repressed as well. ;)
By the way, it was not the way in Houston at all. They were very much up front. Plus there was a strip club and sex shop every 2 blocks in every direction.

So I'm guessing you weren't perceived as a genius from harvard

I spent a few days in Dallas in 2007. I didn't really like it there.

I have been there a few times, but I probably have an odd view of Texas. I thought it was awesome, but I stayed with my very well off Aunt so I didn't really party but still had a very good time. I probably didn't see much of the real Texas though. I do agree and enjoy a lot of their political views as a state... However, I met about 10 texans recently at this giant interviewing thing for a company, and pretty much all of them were like talking to borderline retards. All went to Texas A&M and Texas. All they could hold a conversation with me about was Penn State football and what bowl game Texas A&M will be in this year... girls included..

Yea but Texas has no problem executing the crazy. Gotta love that.

Would love to live there - how is the Mexican problem?
Not meaning normal mexonicos who moved there but the open border swarms.

Houston is your typical cesspool of culture and diversity. It's once you get an hour or two outside any major city that the backwoods can get to you. I've lived near Houston my entire life and it has everything you need with very cheap housing. Almost anything you can imagine is in Houston. Lots of degenerates downtown and the crime rate is getting pretty bad, but overall it's a decent place to work with a strong economy. I recommend buying your home outside the city limits in one of the upper class areas, most of the inner city is trash.
Texas overall is a decent place, lots of gun loving, tractor driving, 38" tire truck driving with the confederate flag sticker bible thumping rednecks, but they are generally nice people. Tons of illegal Mexicans and it's easy to get cheap labor. You can pull up at Home Depot and grab a few Mexicans to do about anything for 20 bucks. If you live in any of the major cities like Houston, San Antonio, Dallas...etc. be prepared to deal with lots of Mexicans. Most of them are quiet and keep to themselves, but after a night of drinking it's like destruction derby on the freeways every night. 50% of the stores you go to all you hear is Spanish and certain areas all the signs/billboards are in Spanish.
I wouldn't leave though, I'm used to the daily nonsense and know what parts of town to stay out of. Houston doesn't have zoning restrictions so you can have million dollar homes across the street from a housing project filled with degenerates. Plenty of nice places to eat, lots of hot women, cheap everything, strip clubs, escorts, plenty of drugs and about anything you can imagine. All the traffic from Mexico comes through Houston.
If you want to live in a nice part of Texas, move to Austin, but good luck finding a job there.

I work in an office full of Engineers from A&M. Let's just say the topics they discuss during lunch revolve around about 3 things. ;D
All i hear about every Monday is their quarterback and how he's going to win the Heisman. Pretty much every college on the planet sucks compared to A&M if you ask them, and they aren't joking.

Lol!
No shit right!? It was worse than when I lived in California, the freeway drivers in Houston were fucking batshit insane, some people going 30 over, some going 50 under, all constantly weaving lane to lane with no fucks givin' to whether someone else was in the space that they were moving into... It truly felt like a destruction derby. Coming back from Baytown raceway on 10 late at night was terrifying.

That's Houston for you! It's madness on the freeways and the traffic is so bad it just makes the daily commute insane.
I used to take my mustang out to Baytown all the time. Driving on I-10 on the east side is probably one of the worst areas.

You must work in Technology.
There are a bunch of big name firms there, but the ability to just move there and find a real job is very hard to do. A lot of people do transfer there and it's argueably the best place in Texas to live. I have a lot of friends who live in Round Rock and i ride my motorcycle up there a few times a year, it's a nice area.

Great area. Cost of living is a little high for Texas due to the influx of folks from California and the tech jobs. I've lived in San Antonio, Witchita Falls, Vernon, and have family in Ft. Worth. I prefer Austin but the liberal judges drive me crazy on ocassion.

Alexis is a very uncommon jewel for a state like Texas. There are more bigger asses here though.
And yes even the college educated here seem dumb. Very simple minded people here, across the board.

I was there for about a week and a half. I am from Australia and have been Dallas, NYC, SD, Los Angeles area including Santa Monica and Venice, Yorba Linda and Columbus Ohio. Dallas was my least favourite place to visit along with Columbus Ohio.

Compared to those cities of course and as a tourist Texas wouldn't be the ideal, but in terms of living it's fairly cheap and is the 2nd most populated state.

Eh, I dunno about that. Some really hard-core religious girls might be more judgmental and less likely to spread their legs -- and yeah, they tend to be "conservative" in general. But look at the higher levels of gov't. Who would you rather fuck: someone like Sarah Palin or S.E. Cupp versus counterparts like Hillary Cliton (not a typo :) ) or Rachel Maddow? As dumb as Sarah is, I'd take her 10 times in 10 over any female Democrat currently in Congress or the Senate.
Granted, Hollywood pussy is largely liberal; e.g., Scarlett Johannsen, Kat Heigl and a shitload of others. But even then, there are a number of centrist/right-leaning types.

Oh, and Elisabeth Hasselbeck. Call her an airhead, dumb fuck or what have you (she's still smarter than that disgusting parade float Rosie O'Donnell, who was so fucking dumb as to talk that 9-11 "Truther" bullshit*), but she's still about as sexy and good-looking as it gets. Rumor has it she likes to be hogtied with a giant ballgag stuck in her gob, too.
*I've given up trying to debate that with anyone; these days, I just direct them to Mike Wong of Stardestroyer.net. If you're a Truther and sincerely believe I'm wrong, shoot him an e-mail and say one of his old friends from North Carolina sent ya ;)
