New Disney Channel Behind the Scenes Feature on BB-8.

A new behind the scenes feature about Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens aired on Disney Channel.  

The feature focused on BB-8 and included an interview with the droid and an appearance by R2-D2.

The features on Rey and Finn are on Page 24.

Rey is definitely the main (though reluctant) hero/heroine of the film.

But it would not surprise me if Finn ends up being Force-sensitive, and thus trains to be a Jedi in Episode VIII and Episode IX.

Rey will definitely be going through such training.

On a side note, it does suck that we have no Lando in The Force Awakens.

However, Marvel gave him his own limited series comic and he is going to be in Episode VIII.

But remember that Rogue One comes first next year.

Believe it or not, that rumor was around for a while.

But it doesn't appear to have any merit.

One of Abrams (and others) complaints about the PT was that Lucas seemed to make the galaxy too small.

I never got that complaint.

The one thing that did cause problems (and I agreed) was having Yoda know Chewbacca and vice versa.

That was too much.

I didn't have a problem with Chewbacca being there since he is about two-hundred years old during the OT.

There is little doubt he would've been around during the fall of the Republic.

However, he could've just been involved in the battle on his homeworld. He didn't need to know Yoda.

Maybe I'm the only one, but this Hebrew/black people thing is getting OLD.  If it is a means of dodging some of Ron's rules about "uhh, durr, no racist talk," it's become about as transparent as Charlie Sheen's STDs. 

Why can't we call a spade a spade?  The original Jews were NOT black people.  Even if, for a moment, we assumed they were -- which is stupid-talk and bunk "history" -- the modern ethnic dynamic certainly doesn't bear that out.
