Yeah - I don't know why they kept her helmet on once they had her......anyone could have played that role, unless she survived and will return.

j j abrams favorite character.. Being that he is not directing the sequels, idk if they will show her to that level.

I know a lightsaber isn't the Mjolnir , but when a non jedi can turn it on swing it around it cheapened the lightsaber to me

also when it was not able to cut through this stormtroopers axe? also cheapened it for me

That's a Gandalf+3 Axe enchanted with some Live long and Potato.

The axe the stormtrooper had was some sort of charged weapon. Similar weapons were used in the prequels by the droid guards of general grievous, against obi wan and anakin.

I think they casted the big blonde chick from GoT just out of horniness for her and to give her a role.

According to my geeky co workers. ( I'm don't care enough to google) there are some metals in the expanded universe that stop a light saber.

Notice it felt like they had skeleton staff in the new death star, it was a massive fucking building with hardly any stormtroopers in it lol!

Will go see movie again in theaters.

That is extremely rare for me since I only go to theaters about once a year anyways.

Do not waste money on 3D though because there are no 3D elements to the movie. IMAX in my town was showing 3D. Money gouging. Still visually stunning.

EDIT: yes, the Hebrews acting was a bit over the top...

Kylo was way too weak though. And his outfit was dorky. Like he just left a Dungeons and Dragons party.

If you read the novel Darth Plagueis; it depicts Darth Maul being borderline arrogant/insane due to his power; this ended up being his downfall which is depicted in the Phantom Menace

Darth Maul was adopted by Sidious and raised as a warrior.
