it will.  the corps and banks have too much invested for it to fail.  Rus and Chi are holding hands now and shooting down satellitaes because they're afeared of what's a comin.

Democrats would prevent us from drilling. Without going into a huge amount of detail, our refinery capacity hasn't improved in over 20 yrs. More US oil woldn't necessarily equate more gas at the pump. Also, when the Saudis lower oil beyond a certain level it doesn't pay for US companies to drill. I recall Richardson saying something around $1.60 per gallon of gas being whatUS producers and refineries could tolerate. Even If ANWAR could be drilled without disturbing a single spotted owl your gas prices wouldn't really change that much.

We have to eventually become far less dependent upon foreign oil. Doesn't make a lot of sense to give them money for oil so they can turn around and donate to Jihadi parents.
