This reminds me of an old joke...

An old drunk sits in a bar every night, and every night he sees this one guy leave with a cutie. Since the guy doesn't look like a movie star, the old drunk figures he must have some special trick.

i just came from a local Starbucks, went in because i saw what seemed to be a pretty brunette in a nice print dress. Well, she was older than i thought, but still pretty. I was behind her, and i happen to notice that her dress was unraveling at the bottom (about a 8 inch black thread), i told her, just so she would know, and she said "thank you, i didn't know that" . Now, that would have been a good opening, but at the time I wasn't really focused on getting her number, just doing a good deed.

Now, the bad line could go like this, "uh, girl, your dress unraveling by itself, maybe it knows something, you don't..."

Funny you said that cause my last gf and I met at a coffee shop. Standing in line, she dropped her purse, I helped and boom...conversation. Traded numbers ect..

The more I think about it, most of the great serious relationships (including my ex-wife) I have be in were not started on purpose. Just kind of fell into it because of some random action / conversation...weird huh?

Actually it's not weird. Women and people in general are less on guard in say a coffee shop paying for coffee, looking at cars in lot, etc. Add a little drop of a purse or a unraveled thread and a helpful hand by someone who is relatively attractive, and a good convo...it adds up a good recipe with very few empty calories (that's if you get the number, that is!)
