No kid ever looked at a superhero or comic book characters and said when I grow up I want a back like Batman.
And old school bodybuilders focused on the eye catching muscle groups. Big chest and big arms. V taper. Simple. And if you don't got it don't hit it.
Classic implies 'throw back' or 'old school' classic doesn't imply weak chest, weak arms. If I admired weak chest and weak arms I'd look at pictures of Bhank all day.
