Nether,  I had quite wide shoulders, so even when my arms hit almost 21'' they still looked small dammit!!
they are a bit over 20 here

I had the worst peak going.  I was a stickler for full range of motion and perfect form.  I think now that that was a mistake.  you watch the pros train, and as wrong as it looks, they are only hitting the peak power groove of each muscle.  if you can curl full range 100 lbs and always train full and strict, then you are not taxing the most powerful part of that muscle.  there is a part of that range of motion that you could lift 120 or more.  by doing partials properly you can stimulate the power point of each muscle.  I wish I would have tried that when I was competing. (mind you , at my age there are a million things I wish I had done different)

It was a serious answer. You can't change the shape of a muscle, only it's overall size.

In other words, you wonder if there are ways to change the shape of your biceps. Well, you simply can't.
Sorry for the bad news, but not anyone can build Oak peaks, no matter how hard you work on them.

Christ dude I'm not asking for a magic bullet. "Overcoming" is a broad term and trust me I'm not that much of an amateur. Ric knows his shit and in the past mentioned how he started out with very poor arm genetics, plus some of the pics I saw of him in his teens his arms look a lot like mine do. Considering how far he took his physique, why wouldn't I pick his mind over arm training?


Sometimes I wonder if something is lost in translation when we converse. The tone/inflection of many of my posts seems lost on you.
