"The Zane Row" Unique Dumbbell Row Variation Inspired By Frank Zane!
Lee looked like a (short) muscle god, back in the day. If it weren't for the fact that this look is freakish and probably humanly impossible without the use of massive amounts of "supplements" I would say bravo to him. However, I cannot do this because he's literally risked his health and maybe his life to achieve something that anyone outside the bodybuilding culture doesn't give a rat's ass about. I sincerely hope he feels satisfied that it was worth it.
Lee's evident disconnect from reality is further exampled by his choice to mutilate his otherwise fairly pleasantly handsome face by having it tattooed. It's a lifestyle choice and a statement. I get that. It is really difficult to set oneself apart from the other 7 billion humans in the world. This does not render it normal. In fact, everything about Lee's appearance seems like a cry out for attention.
I was there once for a microsecond, but then I recovered my good senses. Exercise, including resistance training is something one can do to help them maintain good health when done sensibly and done right. Unless you seek to live the often abbreviated life of a bodybuilder, earn a living doing G4P, hawking worthless supplements, or have a career highlighted by posing naked or nearly so, for a bunch of strangers, most of whom don't give a shit about you except as a "piece of meat."
It is an extremely hollow life choice. However, it does not stand alone with respect to that.
