Perhaps rugged or swarthy. Anyone with poor hygiene might smell 'ripe'. Tanning oils are sometimes odoriferous under the hot lights of the competition stage.

To whom are you referring?  Robbie or Flex?  I saw Robbie a couple of years ago and I’d say 5’8”-9” is spot on.

Why is it that bodybuilder's stats, particularly as they relate to their height are all over the place?

I'm using the bullshit heights of Flex as an example.

They ranged from 5ft.9in. to 5ft.11½in.

Robbie is 5ft.7in.

Robbie Robinson is only 5' 7" which surprised me.

In his youth, he didn't have the whole "stinky homeless, nappy-head-dreadlock" look going on.  Now he does.  When I met him, he seemed a good guy with a sense of humor and a great physique.  He probably still is, he just looks dirty.

He was scheduled to do a photo shoot in my gym on Tuesday because for whatever reason, Golds Venice wouldn’t allow the shoot. Even Lee LaBrada called and they still denied him.
