Shawn's lifestyle - eating habits may have caused his demise, but it is still a shame when someone dies at a young age. It is also too bad there are those who will ignore the risks despite the warning this should give them. It is the old, 'can't happen to me' line of thinking.
No doubt he felt like crap when he was out of shape and maybe even when he was in competition condition. One would think this would be enough to make some changes before it is too late. The human body can take a lot of abuse before it becomes too much.
