I am leaning my head forward and looking down so yes it looks large from that angle the idea was to see the leg situation have decided I need to press going to press today

take it slow if you are easing back into legs.

from the pictures it looks like they never been trained.

Heading to the Driving Range going to see how the elbow tendonitis holds up to the clubs. Also took a pic by the pool this morning of the old legs and wasn’t happy have decided it is time to step it up going to leave the basement and train at the club gym after the driving range. I believe they have a leg press.

Got up at 5AM then hit chest and biceps. After warm up I did one set to failure. Doing the Yates thing this week.

Flat dumbbell bench 1 x 8
decline dumbbell bench 1 x 11
Flat flies 1 x15
push ups 1 x max

EZ curl 1 x 15
Alternate dumbbell curls 1 x 10
Scott dumbbell curls 1 x 12
concentration curls1 x 14

wrist curls 1 x 25
wrist extensions 1 x 20

Weighted crunches 1 x 60
pulley crunches  1 x 40

Then I put on dry clothes and walked fast for five miles. Hit the shower and drove to work where I was on my feet for about 6 hours of my 8 hour day. Maybe one more week of fast walking before I ditch it to return to running. I have to admit that walking is an especially good mood elevator.

How many warm ups before the work set and do you do warm ups for each exercise?

I agree walking makes me feel pretty good even on shitty days.

Why ditch it? If it elevates your mood, stick with it. Doesn't fast walking burn about the same amount of calories as running?

It doesn't matter whether you walk, run, or crawl a mile the caloric expenditure is the same. You use the same amount of energy to move a given mass at a given distance regardless of the velocity.

can´t believe this. if i run 30-40 mins i get leaner way quicker than long boring walks.  same with cycling around town at a good speed. I am not saying walking is bad but the more you tax your body the better the results in most cases. same with weight training. lifting pink bells for two hours won´t cut it!
however if walking works for you then do it.

it´s about intensity. I will get more out of running 30 mins that walking 60.
