You mean like that extra chromosome purged you of common sense?

Oh look.... another one.   :)

At least this idiot has his mother to blame.  So young and already has limited himself to many things in life by following the orange turd's lies.  Somehow I don't think he will be voting this year.

A Kentucky man who stormed the U.S. Capitol while carrying a Confederate battle flag was sentenced on Monday to more than two years in prison for pepper spraying two police officers in the face, partially blinding them for hours during the Jan. 6, 2021, riot.

Isreal Easterday was 19 years old when he joined a mob of Donald Trump supporters in invading the Capitol. He used pepper spray to assault two Capitol police officers who were separately guarding the East Rotunda Doors.

Chief Judge James Boasberg cited Easterday's youth as a reason for handing down a prison term — two years and six months — that was over five times lower than the Justice Department's initial sentencing recommendation.

The judge said Easterday, who was homeschooled by his mother while living on a family farm, “may not have fully appreciated what was going on there” at the Capitol on Jan. 6 or recognized that the Confederate flag is a “symbol of rebellion.”

Cop out. Homeschooling is accepted almost nationwide. Some accolades each year like spelling bees are given to home schoolers. They either are normal people or they are not. To give him a break because a 19 year old was homeschooled is admitting they are not socially on the same level as others. Which is it?

The vast majority of these seem to have mental/intellectual difficulties.  If home schooling is the culprit the parents should be charged too.

I do not oppose home schooling. It is a good option for particular situations. The one area where it can fall short is in socializing these kids. Eventually, they need the skills to survive real life which can be a huge shock to those  sheltered during their developmental stages.

IMO, there are other better options to a public education, such as private and parochial schools. Both my kids initially went to Catholic school that provided them a solid foundation which is not available in public school for a variety of reasons. By the time they reached the freshman year, both chose to go to public school. Albeit my son went to Benson Tech, a public high school in Portland which has higher standards than other Portland Public high schools. Applying students must have a higher GPA or be able to pass entrance exams. My daughter went to a suburban public school which was okay, but the educational standards were not as high as where my son went
