trios are awesome because you make more $ per man. 

splitting pay 4 ways isn't great.   Splitting it 5 ways?  not a chance.  No need for a rhythm guitarist, sorry!

IMHO their guitarist Ty Tabor is one of the best ever,  like top 10 best ever,

he's like Steve Vai except he knows how to come up with hooks and monster riffs

I was going to say this.  Though its cheating in a way, because Hendrix was like a small orchestra by himself. Unparalleled.

i'll take Band of Gypsies over the experience. I know they were only together for a hot minute but Jimi did his best playing with them IMO
