You claim to know more about the collapse than Mechanical Engineers who have studied it.
How can this be?
You shit on me for doubting NIST's *continaully evolving* explanation of the collapse... yet you can shit on people with advanced degrees who simply say we should re-examine what happened.
You're a man of science - yet you are okay with this evidence not even being properly examined ONCE? (and don't claim it was - the 911 commission authors admit it was not)
There are also plenty of people who invested years in investigating it, full jobs for an entire engineering company...so...only the conspirators are right?
The basic mistake you are doing is that you look at it as some simple small building that had a structural failure at one point and collapsed , and that's not surprising since it's the most common scenario.
But this case it totally different, you have airplanes that can cruise at around 0.9mach, here they were diving into buildings with full throttle maybe even breaking mach 1, packed with fuel. Just the energy in the collision can vaporize a few floors/airplanes not to mention the combustibles.
Also if you ever seen National Geographic show about the demolition team they follow you would have seen how many holes need to be drilled and how there is no chance someone could have hidden so much work in buildings that are so overly populated.
Here are some numbers for you, I keep it as simple as possible:
http://www.convert-me.com/en/convert/units/energy/energy.tntton.en.htmlAccording to them one ton of TNT - 4*10^9 Joule.
M=50 Tons , V=830km/h ---> E=(mV^2)*0.5=1.328*10^9 Joule.
These numbers are pretty conservative they are for a very lightly loaded 737 at his top speed (without diving), taking a higher take off weight and speed can easily match one ton of TNT exploding.
- 160kg of TNT exploding for some reference.
Now add to that the jet fuel and the plenty of flammable substances in the building and you get an inferno, also remember that the explosion can create reactions that can't happen in regular fires since they need a very high initial energy to start them and maybe even cause a self sustained chain reaction.
So where are you facts? NORAD was turned off? NORAD doesn't deal with regular civilian air traffic, and considering that NYC have several airports in it and a very busy skies by the time they might have realized something is wrong (kidnap but guessing they will crash it into a building? a little far fetched for them at the time) it was too late, planes move fast and the distance was small.
