10 habanero peppers
5 jalapenos
3 serrano peppers
3 thai chili's
1 red bell pepper
1 yellow bell pepper
1 orange bell pepper
1 large bulb of garlic
1 large onion
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 - 2 tbsp. ground comino
1 1/2 - 2 tbsp thyme
2-3 tbsp dried cilantro
2 28 oz cans of petite diced tomatoes
1 - 1 1/2 cups red wine vinegar

Dice peppers and set aside.  peel and chop onion, peel and chop garlic.  lightly coat large pan with cooking spray and heat garlic and onions over medium-high heat.  When soft add the peppers.  Cook for 2 minutes add vinegar, salt, comino and cilantro.  Cover and let bubble 10-15 minutes.  Add tomatoes simmer uncovered for 20 miutes.  Chill and eat.  I like to add a little bit of fresh cialtnro before serving.  Great on eggs!

Hot ass!!!

Funny story. I like my food HOOOOOT. One Thanksgiving  I was at my aunt's house, one of my uncles by marriage says, "so you like hot peppers", i said yeah...Well, he had a jar of them, and they were soaked, just marinating in hotness-I didn't know this. I took one of them out and started eating and he had a smirk on his face ....My mouth started to feel like it was melting---I felt like I could spit flames...and i grab some water, he told me no, you eat bread...He was laughing

I am going to try this even though I have never heard of a Serrano Pepper.

So any bets on whether a pasty white blonde Canadian Snow Bunny can handle this??

If it burns to bad my little Miglet I fully expect you to kiss it all better.  ;D

yeah it is hot stuff but tasty.  The best thing to  help the heat is drinking some milk.  The fat binds to the oil in the peppers.  Also if you like drink something creamy before hand, it helps to coat the stomach.  Also if you plan on drinking a lot of alcohol the cream coats the stomach and helps slkow the absorption of alcohol.  Thus you can drink more and feel the effects more slowly.  Helps if you are trying to drink someone under the table.

I'll be making salsa today  ;D not nearly that hot  :P One jalapeno only.  Everything is fresh from my garden or the farmers market - except for the lime.

I'll be loosely following this recipe

2 ½ Cups Fresh Diced Tomatoes
1 ½ Cup Fresh Diced Red Onions
1 Red or Yellow Bell Pepper
1-2 Fresh Jalapenos, seeded and Diced fine
¼ Bunch Fresh Cilantro, chopped
Juice of Half a Lime
1 tsp Minced Garlic
Salt and Pepper to taste
.
Combine all ingredients in a bowl and combine gently. Allow to sit for half an hour for flavors to develop.

To this basic recipe, you can add any of the following, Roasted Sweet Corn, fresh diced Avocado, Chopped Mango or Peach, extra hot pepper to taste, such as fresh minced Habaner.
