Most the time people take the back seats out to store tools, personally  much prefer a van but a tipper truck is more useful and actually makes/saves money vs a van. The crew cabs are an acceptable compromise to store smaller tools but it’s still a fucking pain having to take the bigger tools of the bed every night and put them on in the morning

Had a 2014 F-150, went to a 2016 Explorer, last month had to go back to the 2018 F-150. I’ll never go back to an SUV again. Wife has the Range Rover. I still prefer my truck.

Ford Raptor would be my truck of choice.  Ford Ranger is what I can afford.

Everywhere you look there are pickups with nothing in the back.  I don't know why people keep buying them.

Most people today find it easier to tow a trailer than load shit in the back of a truck. Mine is more like my car than anything.

x2 I would say about 10-15% of the people I know who own pickups actually need a pickup.

The auto industry knows that advertising pickup trucks as the "must have" vehicle if you are a real man is a winner every time. Practicality never enters the mix.

Just because building a pickup is about the cheapest thing the auto industry can make and yet has the highest profit margins doesn't enter the equation, haha.

I put very little in the back but use it to tow. I probably use the bed 1 day a week but they don’t make 3/4 ton suburbans or excursions anymore.

You just feel like a man driving a truck.  When I drive a car I just feel weaker so yeah it's a status symbol for me.

It makes perfect sense.  The auto companies do a painstaking analysis of every aspect of the pickup.  Decisions like cab length and bed length are important.

Any of you guys posers that truly have nothing to haul in the back but want to make a statement look away from my small penis. I have a big truck. Just kidding. I would love to have a pick up truck. Along with a lumber jack shirt and a beard.

The Rivian. The first all-electric truck. The specs are unbelievable 750 hp, 10,365 torque, 0-60 in 3 seconds, towing 11,000 lbs. With no engine it has lots of storage space. I am very interested in how this one pans out.

Had a 2006 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab 4x4  with TRD package. One of the best all around vehicles I've ever owned.
