Trucks seem to last forever.
Unlike cars they are totally worth putting expensive repair costs into to keep them going.I thought Ford was crazy for going to small V6 turbos and I was wrong. I don't own one - still have a V8 - but I know several people that love the 3.5L Ecoboost.
I still see a lot of trucks from the 90's on the road and even a handful of trucks from the 80's and even a 70's model here and there. I never see cars that old that are still holding up.
My buddy has a 1983 Ford 100 that was the daily driver of an old man for over 30 years until he quit driving and sold due to his age. How many cars had that long of a life?
Ford was going to go under when they made the ballsy move to switch to aluminum. Every manufacturer criticized them. Now they are all moving to aluminum.Ford was going under when they made the ballsy move to come out with a smaller engines like the 2.7L. Now everyone is coming out with smaller engines.Everyone is trying to compete with the Raptor which everyone knows is the most badass truck there is and the original. My tundra was the best truck I've owned but common Toyota. 15 mpgs? I moved to Ford when I got more horsepower and 22mpg's
Ford has massive problems with their ecoboost engines for cars:QcLKAAlso with the over 300 hp ecoboost for the MustangHopefully the truck ecoboost engines are better?
Why did you buy the second one?
Mustangs suck. As I said before Ford trucks are great but their cars are shit. Anyone remember the Ford Probe? If you ever owned one you wouldn't have any good memories of it I'm sure.
Had a 2006 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab 4x4 with TRD package. One of the best all around vehicles I've ever owned.
First one was a lemon, Land Rover bought it back, and give me a second one heavily discounted, issues here and there, after that, never again
My 2001 SVT Lightning
Doh!Outside the US? Excluding sales within the US? Really? No one buys American pickup trucks. What's the source?
Australia is 4WD country, Toyota dominates .........New Suzuki Jimny could kill Wrangler
Nice bah. how many miles you got?
What is the sense of having a pickup truck unless you have a construction business or haul heavy equipment. They serve no other purpose if you're just using it to drive around for every day use.
