They aren't? I haven't looked into it in a long time but I thought Sin City 2 was specifically for Marv's story at one point? If not then that movie got a lot worse. His segment was the best of the three.

There is is the graphic novel where that guy Dwight get his new face, and the one shot where he saves a little girl.

I heard it was because Rodriguez was going through a really messy divorce. Also, Jessica Alba's pregnancy, Miller needing to write a couple of new stories (including a Hartigan prequel), and Miller being busy working on The Spirit.
