  Kai looks as thick just because his torso is so much shorter and his lats are lower so he appears massive. Ronnie has much greater real thickness. But then, this is bodybuilding where it is about illusion(visuals) and not how big the muscles actually are. Greg Kovacs had much bigger muscles than Flex Wheeler, and yet Wheeler looked as big or bigger because his joints are very small and his muscles very round, which make them look huge. All illusion.

Notice how all Multiple Mr. o winners had a nemesis...for Haney it was Gaspari, and Labrada.
For Dorian, it was Flex, Kevin, Shawn, Nasser. For Ronnie it was Flex, and Jay. For Jay it was Dex and Vic.

There is ni illusion suckmuscle. Ronnie at his best was 248 - 252. That picture looks to be from 1999 Mr. O where he was 260. Kai at his best is 245 - 255. Obviously 03 Ronnie rapes him in size at 287 but were are talking about best look. Ronnie in 98 Mr. O will never be match perfect except gyno. We havent seen the best of Kai but from what weve seen NY pro this year and 09 Arnold are his best so far. Coleman has better structure but weak calves weird abs. Kai has a weird structure but great calves and good abs. But nothing beats Ronnie....

Ronnie is not hitting the pose the way "he" wants to. That pic looks like Ronnie from the 2000 Mr. Olympia photo shoot and Ronnie was hitting the pose the way "Joe" wanted him to do it. Kai still has a great back double bi though.

  I am talking only about back and not total body mass. Kai's torso is shorter and his lats lower than Ronnie's, which makes his back look as massive as Ronnie's even though his back mass is much smaller. In terms of total body mass, they are about the same - except for Ronnie's 2003 and 2004 Olympia versions which were bigger - and proportionally Kai is bigger than Ronnie since he is ripped at 270 lbs at a height of only 5'8.
