I'm just a realist, when it comes to my extended family. I literally see them once a year.

I don't pretend that we are close, although we have good times together.

Yeah, extended family doesn't get together. It's just my wife (and kids) and her parents really.
They just go from like noon to 5 PM, then are back home w/ me.

I haven't seen extended family in a long time. No one makes big deals out of holidays...

Its sad.....but the "holidays" are dying out. Once people had access to information, they realized that the holidays are just rehashes of older holidays.

There is an article that states that Christianity, may become a minor religion in a few decades.

People are waking up. There may be something out there, but it ain't organized religion.

I wonder how some of these recent threads would have gone. Like w/ OnlyMe/Keith and Brian, etc.

Some of the best old threads was Vince and OnlyMe. Epic (and dead) great poster...

Is that gayer than the feller's in gyms, who carry around gallon-jugs of water, w/ 4-ounces in it? (Flexing while taking a sip)?

I don't because I tend to fall a lot and glass would break.  ;D  Tupperware, here!

At dinner I usually eat 6 to 9 cups of cooked rice along with a half to a whole chicken and maybe a can or two of green beans or sweet corn.  That is when I am able to train I eat that for dinner every day.  Have not done that in quite some time now.

If I were ever serious about training, I'd fail with the diet. There is no way in hell I would eat the same meal every day. Also, I could never eat that much in one meal without gagging. It is better for me to eat less each meal, but eat more often, like every couple of hours.

Today I basically only at Thanksgiving dinner. I had a snack of coffee, OJ and a bran muffin for breakfast. I've not eaten since dinner which was almost 8 hours ago now. Maybe I'll have a couple of Pecan Sandies now. LOL.

Big (as in fat) people often know a lot about dieting and diets because they've tried them all. Mostly they know how diets won't work if you don't follow them and stay on them.
