Were you ever a kid? Did you work while you were in school?
When I was in college, one of my non-tenured professors had a PhD. She could barely make ends meet on the salary they paid her. My step-dad had an 8th grade education. He was self-employed tradesman. His 1960's income with inflation today would be over $200,000. a year. Peanuts for most Getbigger...right?
Education is great. It is not the be all end all. Ambition plays a huge role in success. A little good luck helps too.
My 22 year old grandson earns around $2,500 a month at his warehouse job. Not great money, but better than he'd get if he was on welfare. I doubt he thinks of this job is a career.
I told you I had a PhD in past posts. Apparently your memory has gone down the shitter. And with a PhD in synthetic organic chemistry the market is actually soft. I figured that out at my first job so went off and started my own business in a completely different field.
Anytime you force yourself to learn something new it is an education. If you are a lazy dick - well then accept a shitty life. Sounds like your grandson is all set.
It is VERY EASY to get trained in a new field. My local community college offers 6 month and 1 year programs, at night, in a variety of skilled trades. The cost is minimal. A freaking welder in my area, not exactly a hot bed of activity, gets $30 an hour. They even pay you, with a high school diploma, to learn to weld at $16 an hour.
No more excuses bro.
