Well Grimek did not hide the fact that he experimented in hormones in the early 1950's but apparently they didn't work.
He was a natural beast anyway, from the late 1930's onwards until he died he never became a skinny old dude.
I believe Gironda was crazy because he was constantly topped up on vodka. The real vince probably wasn't seen in 30 years by all accounts.
