I am proud to announce that Dennis Wolf has signed an exclusive publishing contract with Muscular Development Magazine.
Dennis Wolf and Markus Ruhl, the two "German Giants" will begin writing exclusive monthly columns in MD starting next month.

This is my Problem with Pros who get to write their own Article: They don't. they're at the mercy of ghost writing. I know that not everybody can write a book, not everybody is a writer, but how acurate those articles are in knowing that these Pros did not penned any of them, still gets to me
Train with pros or following their examples as seen in videos... don't read their "writings." :-\

Its not like writing a bodybuilding article is rocket science and this is where they fail.

I've emailed with Dennis and spoken with him on the phone. His English speaking and writing skills are fine. Many people in Germany are English-speaking (this according to a friend of mine who is of German ancestry and still goes there to visit family a few times a year).

If Steve was smart he'd remove Dexter, Gustavo and Henry.
NOBODY can relate to dieting and cardio advice by dexter or Henry...nobody cares about how balanced Gustavos life is and how he has never ever heard of Skip Lacour. I'm tired of reading about the Hammer Incline press and how Joe made Dex eat an extra meal to make him look 'his best yet'.
Chad and Glass have solid collumns. Hany is perposterous. I never read such self-gratiating self worship nonsense.

Don't get mad at ghostwriting. You're assuming most bodybuilders know how to write. ;D
I'm not too concerned about the writing, even the most educated gets somebody to write for them as is the case for many books outthere. a ghostwriter cannot express your emotions and aspirations. he can only interpret it.

That's the first part of the column. The second part is a journal, talking about what's going on with their training, personal and professional life, and any issue they may want to comment on.
Next, I call the athlete and I get his answers to all the questions, then talk about what he is up to lately and so on. I take that and write it up, often very close to word for word, sometimes elaborating a little bit. The point is, it would be tough for some of these guys to put these columns into the format that my editor needs. It has to be specific word length and have a certain amount of variety to it. That's where I come in. The information does come from the athletes. I just transcribe it and make sure it's in the right format for the magazine.
If I were just making everything up, that would be a whole other matter.

Actually, a much higher number of pros write their own columns, although I can't say Markus will, but more than you think. (and before anyone freaks and flames, I'm not saying that its even remotely close to all.)

First of all Dennis language is Russian as he was born there. His nationality is German. And he moved to Germany few years back. He is fluent in Russian and German, his English is not that great. Everyone who attended Olympia press conference knows exactly what I am talking about. Whatever he will be contributing to MD no doubt will be modified by Ron for "Boss Blechmans" final approval.

As for degrees, I have been a few credits shy of a degree in Mass Communications/Film for over 15 years. Degrees mean absolutely nothing in the type of writing that I do. At least that's what I tell my mother, who still bitches that I never graduated. Ma - get over it!

I won't say who is gone, but I know Lee is still under contract for a couple more months at least - hopefully he stays with MD, I think he's one of the few guys with a lot of personality and opinion. That's why I like working with him on his column. He just doesn't give a f**k if anyone likes him or what he has to say.

We work in the same office, and I'm in front of a computer most of the day (I can feel the early onset arthritis settling into my fingers)...now I'm at home though. It's almost 9pm. It is mandatory in Germany to learn English in the school system.
But... the NEVER use it after school.
European people are extremely bad in English(German, Italy, France, Spain esp.)
In these countries they "dub" foreign TV-shows, films etc.
Most of the foreign literature is translated also so there is no "need" to learn
English. In Scandinavia (Norway, Sweden and Denmark - lived in all countries)
you will be seriously handicapped if you don't speak and read English.
So I'm guessing that Dennis Wolf and Markus RUHL needs some English education
if they should write articles for MD themselves. But why don't MD just translate Dennis &
Markus writings from German to English?

I think they are just trying to target the European market. Dennis might not write anything they just want his name and maybe they will show him what they will print under his name before the public. What I want to know is how much is he getting for this contract??

Actually it is Dennis Wolf himself who is posting at the muscular development board as he speaks english well.
