1 Costco muffin (these bastards are like 700 cals wtf)

8 raspberry danishes

1 large pizza w pepperoni bacon onion green pepper tomatoes and hot peppers

starting a 40 hr fast then back to the grind Sunday am at <1k cal.

What kind of protein powder do you use?  I tried putting Optimium Nutrition in piping hot coffee but it wouldnt blend ???

Also what the longest you've fasted?  At what point do you think muscle loss/catabolism becomes a factor?

I use a protein by IST that is a blend has no aspartame.

put the powder in before the coffee and stir it as you add the coffee into it = no clumps.

I've done 46 hrs. 'muscle loss/ catabolism' is impossible due to a 40hr fast. do you know how hard it is to break down lean tissue? our ancestors walked for miles every day on empty stomachs hunting prey. they weren't farmers they were nomadic hunter/ gatherers. if it were that easy to lose tissue none of us would be here.

to 24hrs is easy. getting from 24hr till bedtime is the hard part. if you can make it to bed w/o breaking say your at 28 hrs and sleep for 8 that's 36 and I never eat when I get up so 40 is easy if you can make it to bed fasted.

Cool thanks for the info.  Personally I have the hardest time in hours 12-18... if I crack, that's when.  Otherwise, getting from 24 to 48 is pretty easy for me.  I just stop feeling hungry

This morning I ate a leftover taco omelet and some hash browns. lately, the serving size at a restaurant is just too much food to eat at one time. I also had a glass of OJ and coffee.

No lunch today. I wasn't hungry and breakfast was late.

For dinner I fixed spaghetti with bolognaise sauce (homemade) and a salad.

So far no desert, although there is some chocolate hazelnut gelato in the freezer with my name on it. So on the other hand this is probably my desert and my wife might have Ben and Jerry's Cherries Garcia.
