Heath 2005 vs 2008
« on: March 10, 2008, 09:28:19 PM »
He is a LOT bigger, but I think he looked better as an amateur (the 2005 is from the USA contest). You can see his abs are pushing out in the 2008 pic and his obliques are MUCH bigger. He ruined his shape. Still, he gained an insane amount of muscle too!  :o

the sad truth is that if he stayed with the 2005 physique, he would have never been muscular enough to win a small pro show

It's true. The IFBB's judging these days is very, very sad.

True, but with the improvements he made by 2006 he was able to win two pro shows.  There is no way he will continue winning more unless he continues improving as he has been.  Phil is just doing what it takes, for better or worse.  Apples and oranges I guess.

Your 2008 pic is also in arguably the best lighting on the entire IFBB circuit. Use a pic from the ASC and I don't think he would look nearly as good. That being said, the current physique sans the midsection is much improved.

Heath if your watching, take a good look at your head...And take a very good look at your buddy Jay Cutler's face...You sir are heading( in a hurry i may add) right down the same path...

Always remember that you are so much more then the man on the stage...The Arnold days are over forever...

The smart ones get out before its to late...The fact that you are reacting to hormones so well is not to be considered as a "good thing"...There is a danger that is far greater then any of the assholes in "the game" that are telling you....

In simple, STOP EATING THE CHEESE...You look great but truth is Flex Wheeler had a much better physique for bodybuilding and look what happen to him...

Chest didn't really get any bigger.  Unfortunate - considering it is his weakpoint.

midsection is expanding at a alarming rate, he should stop the insulin and gh now, its sad to say but the heath rollercoaster of hype - led by the likes of issac and matt c on here will be enough to keep him wining shows regardless of how he looks in the future, so why risk the gut?

You're showing a comparison of his worst or 2nd worst pose. Let's see some others.

Everyone can feel free to post others but his altered most muscular (with one hand on his hip) is even worse. Like I said, he's got a lot more muscle, he just doesn't have as good flow/shape.

I don't know about that. He didn't do so well last year despite all the hype. Remember IFBB rules state that your gut must protrude and your obliques extend beyond the waistline to place in the top 3.
