I can understand if you're dealing with a snake or two that you can dodge them, but this dude was completely surrounded and managed not to get bit. Wouldn't have been very hard for a snake to bite him if it wanted to... so this video doesn't make sense ??? Stork, with your experience as a zookeeper whats the most likely explanation for these guys coming out of the pit alive?
personally am scared to death of snakes.. something about the sneakiness freaks me the hell out. About once a year I'll have hallucinations after waking up in the middle of the night of snakes crawling around on the floor. Last time it happened I literally stood up on my bed scared like a bitch until I regained my senses after turning the bedside lamp on... which I kept on for the remainder of the night ;D

The other day we had a venomous snake in our house. It wasn't big or anything maybe a foot and a half long or something.. and skinny... I didn't know really what to do, was the first one to ever get in my house.... so like the Arab that I am, I sprayed it with Raid.... lol.... I discovered on that day that Raid does not kill snakes, it only pisses them off! Finally, I just had to man up and got my Combat boot and gave it a few good whacks on the head! That took care of it!
I still would rather deal with a snake than a cockroach though! Well.... maybe not a cobra lol but I hate fucking cockroaches!

I am with you. I rather have a snake than a nasty ass cockroach any day. When I lived in Florida many years ago I owned a 7 foot red tailed boa. Snakes make very boring pets.

I live in Texas so I see snakes all the time. Stupid fuckers. At least they eat rodents.
IMO those snakes looked slow. But It doesn't matter I bet dude is immune.

shit, I hate snakes....let alone venomous ones............I know a dude in florida who was bitten by a Viper, I don't know what type of viper it was, it might have been a rattle.....I saw the scar it left on him, it looked like someone stabbed him and took a huge chunk of flesh off his right Arm......he said after the bite, the pain got worse by the minute....after two weeks of treament and surgery, it left so much dead tissue that they had to repair his right forearm.......Don't fuck with venomous snakes

no he is checking the snakes who have recently sheed their skin, sometimes (as with any reptile or spiders) a bit of the old skin is left and it can cause irritation sometimes even infection and death if left in place, with snakes it mostly happens around the eyes - so you can see sometimes that he removes old dead skin from their eyes.

holly fuck, I'd run for my life.......lol.....the average venomous snakes strike faster than you can blink your eyes, anyone within striking distance will get sting......some venoms are worst than others.......they said the Diamond back venom is one of the worst. people have lost Limbs from those bites. they destroy the muscle tissue beyond repair

Most bites are actually dry bites, the snake can see that you are too big to be a meal, but if you get too close they will tag you because you need a warning, but they can regulate if they use venom or not and they cannot waste it, they don't get a hell of a lot to eat anyways so they have to have the venom when they need it. I've been bitten by Anacondas - that hurts like a guy and they don't let go as well - venom snakes tag you and retreat.

Most bites are actually dry bites, the snake can see that you are too big to be a meal, but if you get too close they will tag you because you need a warning, but they can regulate if they use venom or not and they cannot waste it, they don't get a hell of a lot to eat anyways so they have to have the venom when they need it. damn, I can only imagine the pain that comes along once someone is bitten.......this boy was bitten by a Gaboon Viper and was only treated with antibiotic and this was the final result after two weeks.......he had to be amputed. they take too damn long to treat him....I'm shocked he didn't die

Well these are the horror cases, I be much more worried to be bitten by a Brazilian wandering spider - these spiders are unbelievable NASTY!!! very very fast and beside the Sydney thunnel web the only spiders on this planet considered to be Agressive and not as all other spiders Defensive - this spider will actually go for you if you come to close and the venom is fucking horror - a mix between anything that is nasty.

Well these are the horror cases, I be much more worried to be bitten by a Brazilian wandering spider - these spiders are unbelievable NASTY!!! very very fast and beside the Sydney thunnel web the only spiders on this planet considered to be Agressive and not as all other spiders Defensive - this spider will actually go for you if you come to close and the venom is fucking horror - a mix between anything that is nasty.
Amazing how many of these small critters are deadly to us big humans. Nature is nothing to be fucked with.

Really? I dunno much about snakes, when I looked it up online it said it was venomous.
I used to play with ringneck snakes as a child. They are harmless---although, snake venom is just highly modified saliva...and even a bite from a "non-venomous" snake can cause irritation.
In the US, native venomous snakes are the rattlers and copperheads,cottonmouths, which are pit vipers, and the Coral Snake---which has teeth in back---back fang snakes, and if I remember, their fangs are funnel shaped, not hyperdermic shaped....this means that when they bite, they have to work it in, kinds like a boomslang.
So, no, the ringneck snakes are not "venomous".

lol fucking thing made me jump as well - we had a snake the same size in the zoo were I worked - I was never allowed to get in only the head zooker for the reptiles, thing was vicious, you would come close and she would tilt her head and you know she is eying you.
