The book goes into deep sadistic detail of the events that the movie doesn't grasp. It also explains the ending better. The movie really fucked that up as well.  The only issue with the book is is how BEE likes to spend 3 full pages describing someone's suit and hairdo.  It gets nauseating after the fifteenth time.  Some of the shit that this guy does in the book is plain psycho.

I don't follow.

As a yankee abroad there are some things I try to avoid out of self consciousness.  Maybe it's just me.

How=you=Oz?

It's a long and fascinating tale, but the short version is "Fallen leaves in the night, who can say where they're blowing?"

Definitely! And I would suggest renting The Rules of Attraction. Kate Bosworth gets fucked in the first 5 mins as well as Jessica Biel later on in the movie. A top film in general as well.

Yeah, that's the other way round. "Rules of Attraction" is the movie much better than the book, the book is absolutely sickening with every chapter written outta the perspective of someone else.

Why bother with the book?  ???

Gut gemachter Film mit glanzvollen Dialogen. Lieber lese ich die Tageszeitung und zieh mir dieses cineastische Wunderwerk rein...

Excerpt:

"...In this song, Phil Collins addresses the problems of abusive political authority. In Too Deep is the most moving pop song of the 1980s, about monogamy and commitment. The song is extremely uplifting. Their lyrics are as positive and affirmative as anything I've heard in rock. Christy, get down on your knees so Sabrina can see your asshole. Phil Collins' solo career seems to be more commercial and therefore more satisfying, in a narrower way. Especially songs like In the Air Tonight and Against All Odds. Sabrina, don't just stare at it, eat it. But I also think Phil Collins works best within the confines of the group, than as a solo artist, and I stress the word artist. This is Sussudio, a great, great song, a personal favorite. ..."

BRUELLER!!!  ;D
