I guess Centopani's chest didn't "hold him back"........eh ??

He just beat some 1st tier pros and WON the fucking thing, and it was a real win, not gifted.

I repeat......best young pro out there,future Mr Olympia. he has Dorian-like size and density with better lines

I love it when haters who talk shit have to eat their words.

I highly disagree, his glaring weaknesses come out in certain poses. Top 5 depending on competition but not the best ever. not even close.

Nope....i see the comparison to Paco, but IMO it's because he has a similar type build....except that he's miles better aesthetically than him. he's already HUGE and his waist is in check, it's actually on the small side.

haha, sure. We judge things based on comparisons; based on his gym pics I expected better. Looking back at his competition pics he seems well balanced from the front except certain poses like the front lat where the weak chest hurts him. Back double bi lacks thickness, so thats his two big weaknesses.

There's another dimension to his physique that seems to be lacking also, hard to pinpoint- I guess you can call it flow, perhaps muscle maturity.. like I said he's top 5 material if he shows up in shape but I doubt he'll win an olympia.

Evan's one of the best now, but it's a shallow field compared to the 90s. As long as he keeps his waist in check and adds size everywhere else, esp. pecs, he should do well.

I think Wolf looks better than Evan, calves aside.

groink i will agree with you..he is a good bber. i think he will be a threat in the future...possibly win the arnold one day ect. but i don;t ever see him winning the mr. o. i still stay although he has flaws as well wolfs structure is better then evans.

Dorian had crazy good lines. Insane skeletal structure. Very hard to beat, Centopani certainly doesn't.

Correct.

Dexter still has better lines and overall flow of symmetry. Evan looks way too blocky. This is a bodybuilding contest consisting of not just size alone, but of symmetry, proportion and the overall flow from muscle to muscle.

A couple of things Evan had going for him:

I thought Evan won it, even though one arm is bigger than the other, he has a Paco/ Bob Chick structure, very poor chest, and a good back...Dex didn't come in usually shredded and full self---so he was docked. But, Evan is not the best of the rest...he is mediocre at best...whch is the sad state of bbing, if it keeps going this way, the Boardshort Division may eclipse it...

Centopani has a great physique and a great future in bodybuilding ahead of him, and I always said he would win the Flex Pro, but to say he is "Dorian-esque" is a bit premature. Their physiques are actually pretty dis-similar. As long as Evan doesn't try and play the size game too quickly he'll do fine - if he gets too heavy I can see his physique getting very blocky - that waist isn't going to stay small forever.

Agree. He has a common sense approach to bodybuilding and will do well, but he will never win the Olympia. Any comparison to Dorian is laughable, he's more like Paco in the midsection, so he would be wise to not compete any heavier.
