Yes, it was, but the pix of him in circulation were always carefully chosen. He needs to work on his external obliques... or controlling them onstage.

Great pic, looked a lil better back there. But I think he shouldn't turn pro, he is too old anyway and wouldn't do much damage, should rather enjoy his top status in the Amateur ranks for years to come, just like Thomas Scheu.

I guess it's in the eye of the beholder because I think that is exctly how a midsection should look! Fully developed, not just flat and defined like most.

More traditionally it would be El Setouhi, being that he's from Egypt. But since he's been living in Germany, he probably started writing it as Elsetouhi.

there are about a dozen guys who _could_ be Mr Olympia within 3 years. I don't think I'd put Tarek very high on that list
of the guys who are on MuscleHunks, MuscleWeb, MuscleGallery, and PowerMen, Tarek is probably the 8th or 9th most likely.

in that pose, the obliques stick out because you're crunching downwards, so it affects the abs and obliques together. u can reduce how big the obliques look onstage, but u likely won't be flexing the abs at the same time. ;)

Um, no. Here is an example of the abs being flexed, the serratus anterior being flexed, and the external obliques are NOT bulging. This is the look Tarek needs to master.
