I don't work this year because I am a full time postgraduate student; I worked for 7 years before that, saving my money, hence I live off of MY savings which also paid for my degree and living costs here.

Seriously man, get a clue, you think everything resembles Austria? In the rest of the world , lots of people work for a long time and go back to pursue graduate studies. It's pretty normal.
